Juan's Authentic is closing after today, this is your last chance to eat here. I love it here, the food is great, the people are great, family and employees. Their food is made with much care, love and pride because it is sooo good! From Cameroon's En Chipotle, flautas, I alway get two beef and two chicken, two in corn and two in flour tortillas, I don't care which two, any combo because it's always so good. I could drink their salsa and usually do. My absolute favorite meal is a mixed chili burrito with rice and beans with two three salsas! If I call, that's what Mr. Tony Sr. will get me if I call or show up. Once I had ordered something else probably just the burrito but I took my mixed chili because Mr. Tony knows what I really want and he's right, always! Yes, I have eaten other things but these are my top three. My co-worker Eva, introduced me to the shrimp dish and she is always right, when I follow Eva, the dish is the bomb, an explosion of flavor! It's all I can do, not to run down there and buy a quart of red chili and a quart of green chili to put in my freezer..... then I will cry because it won't taste like Juan's because I don't have their touch! I will miss this place but I understand because this family has worked very hard to feed us all for 27 years, 22 years ago I learned about it. Have a great retirement and thank you for 22 years of great meals, we love you, honestly and you absolutely will be missed, now go sit and enjoy! Home of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten that wasn't homemade. My family has been coming to this restaurant for as long as it has been around and we have come to know the family that owns it well. Knowing it has recently been purchased, I am sad to see it go but glad to watch them succeed. If you have a chance to visit before they sell the business I could not suggest it more highly.

I just heard today they are permanently closing next weekend. GOOD. The worst food I've ever had, I had here. Kiddie sized portions instead of portions for adults, flies buzzing around (hello....Health Department?) and really not very good food. Service was substandard as well. I'm surprised they stayed open as long as they have. Good riddance.

Unassuming, plain in architecture yet very good quality Phoenix Style Mexican Food. I say Phoenix Style because I've noted small, often imperceptible differences between Mexican Food one finds in New Mexico and certainly Tex-Mex Food. It is my opinion that Phoenix Mexican Food resembles closely Southern California Mexican Food (and then there is the very authentic Mexican Food one can find with Nopales and things like that!) Juan's Authentic Mexican Food is just plain good! Creamy Pinto Beans, perfectly cooked rice and my Green Chili Burrito had beef instead of the more traditional pork. This place is clean, they have beers and Margaritas, give it a try!

Been here before a few times so decided to grab lunch here with some siblings. Right away the waitress we had came off rude. My sister ordered a soda and told the waitress it tasted off so asked the waitress if she could change it for another drink. She said that was fine and got her a new soda. This one also tasted off. I tried a sip of both sodas and they both tasted flat. She talked to the waitress again and told her that the drinks tasted flat. The waitress said very rudely that she was the only person complaining and that if she wanted to speak to the manager she could get her. She calls the manager over and the manager and waitress start to have a side conversation by our table in Spanish and the manager who was an older lady with bangs says: "well she just keeps ordering drinks, she needs to pay for them all. Mind you both cups were still full. We decided to just ask for the bill and leave. They both ruined the experience and honestly the food was mediocre. Definitely do not recommend at all

The crunchy tacos were pretty good. I originally came here because I saw someone post the quesadilla supreme. So we got one of those and I also got a carne asAda and guacamole burrito. The crunchy tacos was the only thing I really liked. They were well priced too. The quesadilla supremes seemed like it was sitting out for a few hours. Something just didn't seem fresh. So if I came back I would just get chicken crunchy tacos or shredded beef crunchy tacos.

The best Mexican restaurant in arizona. The food here is amazing. Very authentic, flavorful, fresh. Staff is so lovely, interested in the clientele and very fast. This is a place I continue bring many friends and family when they visit arizona. A must try!!!!!
Good food, big portions. If you dine in they have chips and salsa, the salsa is freshly made and nicely spicy. I usually get the super burrito which you can also get with green, red, or combination of both red and green enchilada sauce. It's huge and quite tasty.

I've been eating at this place since 2001. The beans are amazing. Tortillas are soft and supple. Their staff is amazing. Although I don't live in the area any more, I will still drive 30 min to get a Juan's burrito or a plate.
