Julio G's Mexican Restaurant

I want to start off by saying that the staff were absolutely amazing in every way possible! The food just wasn’t that good and I feel the menu is lacking plus the neon pink lights give off strip club vibes. Cheese dip was okay but could’ve been better. Okay presentation though. Tacos were not flavorful and 3 of them did not fit the price being charged. They gave us 1/2 off the bill which was great! That money went to the waitress for being so sweet!

Chips and salsa are always great to start off the experience. Added jalapeño cream cheese for dipping. It was delicious. Burrito enchilada style was amazing. Strawberry margarita to top it off. Yummy.

My wife and I recently enjoyed our dinner. We enjoy going to Julio G's as the food is good and the servers are helpful and attentive. This particular evening, we complimented a busboy who was very attentive and helpful, only to learn he was the owner. We had a nice conversation, and he was proud of his establishment and shared how committed he was to ensuring everyone had an enjoyable time and good food and drink. We learned that food is prepared from scratch each day rather than up to 2-3 days in advance, as done in many other restaurants. We will be going to Julio G's even more often in the future.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. Today was another wonderful visit. Upon entering,Zach made us feel like valuable customers with his welcoming and friendly demeanor. Every time we have a meal here, the food, service and atmosphere is excellent. Also, Brianna, who was our server previously, was kind, efficient and attentive. We are very pleased and highly recommend this establishment. We are very thankful for the dining experience we have every time.

Let me start by saying, the food was amazing, our server, Zack, was fantastic! The only problem I had, was the smell when you step into the restaurant. It smelled like sewer gases from a drain. My wife and I nearly turned around and walked out. I'm glad we stayed because the food was worth it. I had the taco, enchilada combo lunch special. I'm still thinking about it a day later. They have the best rice in my opinion. So if you can get past the smell, the food will get you coming back.

I dine at Julio G’s regularly and have never been disappointed. The staff are fantastic, quick to serve you and engage with everyone. Darren specifically is amazing with how he engages directly and his communicative personality. I typically get the kids bean and cheese burrito so it’s not too big and the portion size for the price is phenomenal. Make sure to get the chips and queso as well. I get chips and queso at every Mexican place I go to, and Julio G’s is top 3 with the amazing portion size, the phenomenal flavor and amazing price. Everything has such high flavor including the salsa. The atmosphere is a diner-like vibe in a Mexican form, amazing. I highly recommend coming here and if Darren serves you, he’s great!

In my experience, a terrible place, dirty tables, excessively hot to enjoy what you are going to eat, the waiters are uncoordinated and when it comes time to serve you the food they bring you dirty plates stained with sauce. Sorry, I do not recommend it at all.

We love this place, we always passed by and said we should go! Finally went and enjoyed it so much! Cannot go wrong with the chicken mini chimi's! Bri is literally the best, she's so genuinely kind and we're always happy when we get her!
