My wife and I dined here a week ago. It was such a great experience. We enjoyed the introduction about the Pima Native Americans before the courses started. The levels of flavors with each course were something that we have never experienced before. It was my first time trying foie gras and it was amazing. We will definitely make a return. Thank you for creating a fantastic date night for us!

What an extraordinary birthdays dining experience at Kai! This menu showcases why they absolutely deserve Michelin three-star recognition. The thoughtfulness and creativity on display here is remarkable. The menu structure itself is poetic - “The Birth,” “The Beginning,” “The Journey,” and “The Afterlife” - creating a narrative arc that elevates the meal beyond just courses. This is storytelling through food. They're using native ingredients like Anasazi beans, cholla bud, saguaro blossom syrup, tepary beans, and Arizona mushroom XO in ways that honor their cultural significance while showcasing modern technique. The ingredient combinations show incredible balance: The service was equally exceptional. Taylor Rose, our server, was outstanding - knowledgeable, attentive, and added so much to the experience with her expertise and warmth. Service at this level truly completes a three-star experience. The price point ($195 per person, $350 with wines) reflects the caliber and the fact that many of these ingredients are rare, foraged, or specially sourced. Chef Drew Anderson is clearly operating at the pinnacle of his craft. Absolutely worthy to try all food of dishes in Kai.

We were celebrating my Aunt's 77th birthday and she was blown away! There was absolutely nothing we would have changed or a negative comment to make. I have food allergies and they accommodated everything while still giving me all of the flavor and an amazing dining experience.

My vocabulary has no superlatives to adequately describe this experience which exceeded expectations. Ordinarily a meal is just a meal and a birthday us just another trip around the sun but this one was memorable. The tasting menu had options pleasing to folks with gluten free and vegetarian preferences. Simultaneously serving 4 guests enabled us to enjoy the time together during the multi course feast. The comfortable serving pace was neither too fast nor too slow over about 2.5 hours. Knowing that the chef hails from Minnesota I hoped to see native wild rice incorporated in the tasting menu; maybe in the future as a vegan option? Valet parking is recommended because they also went above and beyond expectations.

Have been here many times for special occasions and always a 5-star rating. This time not so much - dress code seems (to me) lax- most casual I have experienced with folks in jeans and very casual attire- was not busy so don't know what happened in the kitchen- pasta with elk came out without the elk, fish dish - fish had bones (not just one or two) which is really unacceptable for a small piece of fish. Service was excellent - Jeremy did take one of the meals off the ticket - again the service was excellent- maybe a one off on the kitchen.

Kai offers an AMAZING tasting menu. They also offer impeccable service with knowledge not only on the food/ingredients but also on the restaurant art work and the local area flora and fauna (and without any pretension). Every flavor was a delightful experience. Staff was on the spot for everything. I can't express how much we enjoyed our dining experience at Kai.

Always amazing...noise level was disturbingly quiet...thought table next to us was more interested in listening to our conversation than have their own. Maybe slightly higher volume on the music would have helped

Kai delivered an absolutely exceptional dining experience. From the moment we were seated, we were treated like royalty. They were gracious and attentive throughout the entire evening. Being addressed as chef was a thoughtful touch that felt respectful and welcoming. The service was impeccable: our table was cleaned frequently, water glasses were always full, and every course arrived beautifully presented. The food was on point across the board with thoughtful, balanced, and expertly executed timing. The hummus was the only dish that could use a bit of refinement, but it didn't take away from the overall excellence of the meal. One of the most memorable moments was when the staff lit a candle twice so my mom could make two birthday wishes. A small but incredibly meaningful gesture that truly set the experience apart. Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Kai offers more than a meal. It's an experience we'll remember and happily return for.

This was the best dining experience I have ever had. My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary with Kai. I cannot explain the culinary journey we took. I wouldnt try to explain it, as I think my review would spoil every surprise we got with every course. Thank you to the entire Kai team for making my wife and I feel like you designed an evening for two. Thank you Feliciano. Thank you Darren. Wine was amazing. Food was the best we have ever had. The experience was a 10.

The experience from valet to being greeted and seated as well as the departure was a wonderful experience. Everyone had friendly welcoming smiles and were excited to have us. Every associate used our last names and made us feel like VIP guests. Jeremy was our server, and to say he was knowledgeable is an understatement. He was gracious and genuine and made the experience for our anniversary that much more memorable. Kudos to the staff as well as the culinary team who created such a unique and delicious menu.

A magical experience! Especially enjoyed the mushroom first course, venison and honey cake dessert. Service was impeccable.
