I’ve never been to Ethiopia, but eating here made me feel like I was there. The vegan combo was delicious, super filling, and fun to eat, and the lady who served us was so warm and welcoming. Restrooms could use a little TLC though. Also, when asked what we wanted to drink, we said water, and were handed small bottles of water that we were charged $1.50 each for, which was an unpleasant surprise when receiving our bill. #Veganuary

My bf and I went here for dinner while on a work trip. We love Ethiopian food and this place really delivered! We each got the vegan combo plate, and it was perfection. Definitely recommend; go here!!

This is a real Ethiopian cultural restaurant in AZ!
The owners with great smiles did great me when I stepped in to the restaurant. My special Kitfo was delicious & served on Koba (banana leaf). They offer a great coffee ceremony as well.

This was our first time trying Ethiopian food and we loved it! Everything was delicious and felt healthy and clean.

We chose this restaurant because it had quite a couple of vegan dishes and we are a vegan couple. We had the vegan combo which came with the Ethiopian ‘bread’ as well as a variety of dishes, none of which were spicy, as well as the half-half dish.

Everything was delicious and extremely filling! Thank you. Besides this, the restaurant is decorated with cultural items and looks lovely! The hosts were also lovely and kind. Will definitely come back.

Dietary restrictions: There are many vegan options.

I had the meat combo platter and everything on it was very good. The taste was authentic, the injera fresh, and the spices used came from Ethiopia. Spiciness was on the tame side compared to in Ethiopia but you can ask to have that adjusted at most places if you prefer. There was more variety included with the combo than is typical at restaurants in Phoenix with 4 meat dishes, a vegetable dish and they included ibe (cheese) without me having to ask for it. The amount of food was good for the price and about the right balance of wat to injera if eating with your hands. I spoke with one of the owners at length and they were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had a smokey smell from a coffee ceremony that I found very pleasant and enhanced the nostalgia for me. I will be coming back.
