Dawns NY Bakery on Central

I tried Dawn‘s bakery for the first time today and I only have a one word review….WOW!! We tried a few different things like the radio wave cake, and the cannoli just blew my mind! Everything was absolutely delectable and tasted so fresh. The selection was amazing and the customer service on point. Would not just highly recommend this bakery I almost insist everyone needs to try it. You won’t be disappointed! Can’t wait to go back!!

First time visit here I called early this morning to see if they had any available cakes for my birthday today and luckily they had a vanilla buttercream with strawberries in the middle and top they cake was absolutely delicious! And the staff and super friendly I would definitely visit again!

Dawn’s NY Bakery on Central is a great place to stop when you want freshly baked bread that actually tastes homemade. This is a fantastic bakery. We’re traveling, and while staying in an airbnb nearby, we’ve visited this great bakery four mornings in a row, plus one afternoon visit for their delicious cookies. This is one of the best bakeries in our memories - the selection, the quality, the presentation, and the reasonable prices make this a standout!

Thank you to everyone working here! You SAVED ! my daughters first birthday ! The cake was SO BEAUTIFUL ! I literally cried ! You have no idea what it ment to me about this cake. The first place messed our cake order and I called last minute and they were able to make it happen on short notice. Thank you all so much!

best bakery for breads cookies and pastries! it's our favorite go to spot and the owner is really nice

Not often do I go out of my way to Sunnyslope, but I'm glad I did this time.

Wonderful seeded Italian bread, and a beautiful Bouche de Noel for the holidays, both for a reasonable price. I'll definitely have to try some of the other treats next time.

Very delicious and fresh cookies. I came in and ordered 3 of everything and they took no time at all to prepare everything. They were kind and diligent. The feeling when entering the bakery reminds me of NY. Definitely will go again.

What an upgrade! Dawn’s NY Bakery is awesome!

The old bakery was dated and the food was freezer burned and over priced, so we were excited when a new bakery moved in. Our first trip was better than we expected!

The selection is huge, and it all looks so good. It’s really hard to choose, in a good way.

The staff was friendly and helpful, we were in and checked out super quick. The price point was totally affordable. We were happily surprised. $25 for a cake is great, in comparison to the old bakery ($52 and freezer burned). If you were burned by Karl’s bakery, definitely go back Dawn’s has flipped the script. What an amazing addition to the neighborhood!

Tried a bunch of stuff from here,but nothing she makes is really great. They are good or below average. The crumb Danish wasn't too great, but the cheese bagel was decent.
Dawn has no personality which ruins the NY experience.

This was our first visit, and the young lady who assisted us was wonderfully patient and helpful with all of our questions. We purchased the mixed cookies sold by the pound for our staff, and everyone raved about how delicious they were. Very pleased with the experience. We will definitely be back.
