They are closed as of 6/30/2021. Great place for over 28 years. Lots of history here. Sorry to see them go.
Great!1 last dinner before they close.Gonna miss this place.
Really enjoyed our meal. Sad that it will be closing. One of the first places we have 18 yrs ago when we moved to phoenix.
Keegan’s had always been good. Up to now. We ordered the artichoke dip and the cook gave us a pile of broken chips from the bottom of the bag. My wife wouldn’t let me complain. Ugh.
Flavors and dishes all quite good. Steak was done correctly. Battered fish tacos were tasty. Portions were a bit small, but other than that, it was all good. Nice local place for pub food.
Delicious food. Great service. Our first restaurant visit in over a year, and totally a great choice.
I have been coming here for a while now and this last time I came in my food was completely cold so I didn’t eat any of it, I let the waiter know and then the manager came to my table. He offered to remake the food for me which I politely declined due to the cold food ruining my appetite and being on a time constraint. I was still charged for the meal which I was extremely surprised and disappointed about! Unfortunately this experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I’m hoping this is not a common for this restaurant!!
I say a 5 star because my server David was actually good and treated us with respect which is hard to come by nowadays. Even our hostess with the mostess lol she was really sweet. On a food note, for being a first timer here it's a sweet spot to hang out and have drinks. The food is good just different for me, it's like something is missing.. shrimps were salty, the carrots were limp so they were old but still served, the meatballs need some TLC they tasted frozen and the noodles were actually done but not spaghetti noodles which probably would've been better. But I'd go here again since it's kid friendly and those two employees made me feel comfortable in that atmosphere.. also the bartender she was friendly too. :)Maybe have the kitchen employees come around ask how the meal taste, a manager ... it wasn't a packed place at this time but it would be nice to see and talk to more of the staff.
Excellent food and service. Friendly. If you are lucky you’ll get David as your server
steak sandwich was good, my wife had a nextveg (vegan) hamburger that was good. Service was great, sat on the patio.
Restaurantji Recommends
Maybe because it was Saint Patrick's Day so that they seemed very disorganized. And would not take $100 bill because they didn't have the measures to see if it was counterfeit. Food was good though
Wonderful experience at Keegan's in Ahwatukee. They have outdoor dining and if you choose to eat indoors they are adhering to Covid guidelines in an excellent way. Service is great. A very friendly neighborhood place. They have a nice happy hour with a good selection of appetizers such as the mussels and ribs. Delicious and good happy hour prices. The make a mean burger too! I would definitely recommend a visit to this establishment.
Good food, fair prices, good bar. My favorite is the Flatiron steak. Suggest order rare if you want medium rare. Also, the cheese potatoes are way heavy fuel. I prefer fries or a baked potato. A great place when it's been a long day and let someone else make dinner.
Great food and friendly service. Good wine list. We will be back. Ribs are delish as were the sliders.
Great food! Great service.
