What a great find! Love that the two women who own it have an amazing story, incredible space, know their wine and we're so welcoming! The food was incredible too, and it was quiet enough you could sit and talk without yelling. Definitely a 10!

If this were in Paris it would be one of the hottest restaurants in the city.

If you live in the area, visit and be grateful.

If you live outside of the area, visit. Worth a detour. One of the most exciting young restaurants in the states.

Amazing, well thought out food. Local vegetables

Brilliant wine list. So well selected. Amazing values.

Great service.

Cool decor.

As an out of town diner who was admittedly skeptical: this place made me believe in dining in Phoenix! Wow. Husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with the friendsgiving prix fixe. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare (and properly so!) and the foie gras butter was delicious. The starter - a scallop crudo with a hibiscus vinaigrette - was an out of this world first bite. Meanwhile we had 3-4 excellent wines from their list, recommended by our server for each course who also let us taste what we’d prefer. I’m recommending this to everyone I know in the area!

I visited this restaurant after seeing the glowing reviews from Eater, but unfortunately, the food was well below expectations & overpriced for what it was. I ordered multiple small plates, as one does at a tapas restaurant. The beets were fine, but nothing memorable. The anchovies, however, were genuinely unpleasant—which is saying something coming from someone who enjoys eating anchovies straight from the can. The duck was overcooked, and the accompanying sauce was so heavy-handed with sugar that it overwhelmed the entire dish.
Using sweetness as a shortcut to flavor is a tired trick, and here it just felt lazy. If I wanted a meal relying on sugar to disguise mediocrity, I’d go to the Cheesecake Factory.
The 2 stars I did give are solely attributed to the wait staff who were kind & attentive. Again, the food was a huge miss. Very disappointing.

I don’t understand any of these reviews. The food is terrible. Maybe the wine is OK, but that’s an easy one. Place is so bad. You should go to Trader Joe’s on your way home if you’re even thinking about going here.

A simple, well designed restaurant and menu. The food, atmosphere, wine, and design are all well curated. The new duck dish is amazing- the pear and brown butter sauce is heavenly.

absolute gem of a wine bar. Incredible wine list and great food. Service was wonderful (especially as amatuer wine drinkers) and it made for a wonderful date night overall. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, intimate, upscale-yet-casual dining experience.

Only quip - you need to repot the Monstera plant by the kitchen - that guy has more than outgrown its pot (which is why roots are sticking out searching for new soil).

Truly an indelible experience - a one of a kind in Phoenix. The culinary offerings - unique, tasty, perfectly portioned and crafted with expertise. I recommend asking the story of how Kid Sister evolved - the owners are so passionate about what they’re doing. The ambience and scene: exceptional. It’s intimate yet lively and the perfect setting. The seasonal menus give me something new to try every couple months 🫶🏼

This place was super cute and the aesthetic was chic along with great service. However, my husband and I are major foodies and enjoy a good glass of wine but the options here were very limited. Unfortunately we were not pleased with the options.

If you are close to closing and don't want more any more customers - just say it. Don't ignore a customer and avoid eye contact hoping they leave.

I had such a wonderful time at Kid Sister! From start to finish, everything was spot on. The food was absolutely delicious, the wine selection was incredible, and the service was warm and attentive. The ambiance is cozy yet elevated, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a night out with friends. I’ll definitely be back soon!
