Overpriced coffee for a very rude customer service! I love supporting local coffee shops but this one is a hard no. Not even Starbucks is that rude and overpriced! Stay away from this place and find you a nicer spot to get good coffee at!

Rude barista. Over 9 dollars for a small latte and it tasted nasty! They didn’t even try to help after I let them know it was bad. Awful don’t go here. I asked the barista what kind of latte do they have and she asked me, “what do you mean what kind of lattes do we have?” Umm 🤔 I don’t know! Should I work the register?

The photos speak for themselves. Delicious, comforting, and lovely. Their sausage pictured in the breakfast bagel is homemade, as are all of their desserts.

Cortado is our favorite weekend morning breakfast date spot! The team here is always so friendly and welcoming, the coffee is amazing and the pastries are delicious. Highly recommend their green chile pork bowl for breakfast and the southwest chicken sandwich if you are stopping in for lunch.

My boyfriend and I come to Cortado BC all the time, our drinks always come out tasting great. The horchata matcha is my favorite with oat milk. The people there are so nice always with a smile on their faces and in a great attitude.

I love Cortado! It is my neighborhood coffee place. The staff is so friendly and their cold brew is amazing. I’m so glad that I can stop by and get my cold brew on the way to work. It’s starts my day out on a good note!

I have been coming to this shop since it was King Coffee Roastery, and the new owners have transformed the space by renovating the interior and introduced many new food items that I enjoy. I love their rotation of seasonal menu items, as I love exotic or new flavors with my coffee. They have a crazy range of food, desserts and pastries so there's something for everyone. My sister and her kids still rave about the massive brownies I brought them once. Their pozole truly is the best in town in my opinion, and they have many different breakfast options too.

The coffee is good, but can run sweet so if that's not your taste you can ask them to adjust the ratios. They offer different dairy alternatives if you can't drink milk. The staff is super friendly and they always remember my name when I come in, and I'll often see them interacting with other customers with the same familiarity. It really feels like a genuine local community place, unlike the more corporate entities like Starbucks.

The only negative is that the shop is on the smaller side so seating is pretty cramped, especially after the renovation took up space to add more baking equipment. It can be tricky for anyone using walkers or wheelchairs to navigate around, and you often have to squeeze past tables to get your drinks. It can be crowded on weekends, so will get a bit loud and seating can be hard to snag, especially in the summer when it's too hot to sit on the outside patio. But these are minor issues and people are pretty helpful in moving things aside to help people get through when needed.

All in all, it's a great spot to check out and I highly recommend!

I love this place! Everything they make is exceptional. I LOVE the Foccacia Deluxe for lunch. For breakfast, you can’t go wrong with the original avocado toast. I can’t say enough good things. Grateful this place is on my side of town.
