I decided to drop into today and it was my first time eating at King Gyros. The first thing I noticed was the welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. The cashier Sarge was very efficient and respectful to every customer I saw him interact with. One thing that stood out to me was when a doordasher came in and they had a massive order, not only was the food prepared for them fast but Sarge also personally helped carry the order out to his car. He also included extra sauce in my order with no extra charge , it always makes my day when people go the extra mile. I will definitely be back !

Consistency good food. I always eat outside with my dog and the staff here is always friendly to my furry friend. Although I eat here, I order some to go and the staff makes my to go order right before I am ready to leave. It's very good service.

Came for lunch today to have a gyros 🥙 They were referred to me by my investment advisor at my Credit Union. So I came here hungry and interested to see how good their gyros are… they’re King Gyros. I ordered their gyros combo that comes with french fries and a fountain drink. During my order I asked questions about what is used. I didn’t like the fact that they use red onions in a mix with white onions. Everything else is fine: tomatoes, tzatziki sauce… As my meal was brought to my table it looked good. The fries were alright; having a little crisp to them. I noticed a big piece of red onion that I picked out. I do not like red onions as they have a strong bite to them. They kill the palate, or taste. The other onions were fine; along with the tomatoes. The sauce however has a lot to be improved upon. I didn’t taste any cucumber, or garlic. The seasoning was overpowering. Too much dill. A little goes a long way. The atmosphere was alright. Clean, but a bit cramped. Especially going to the back to use the restrooms. There’s a massive cooler that encroaches on the corridor. And in the men’s room there are cabinets and shelf for storage; along with a ladder, and other things. Would I return for lunch again? Not anytime soon. I’ve had better gyros. I doubt my ever coming back. Try them for yourself, and decide if their gyros is to your liking…

The best Greek quick draw dishes on the north side of Phoenix. Combination dinner is a sweet go-to for chicken, beef & pork taste buds. Make sure to check this mom & pop restaurant for hours, they are only human! But they'll remember regular customer favorite orders!
I'm not sure why I've never left a review here. Being ranked in Google's top 10 percent. It's amazing! Really one of the best in the entire Valley, if not the best. It's also priced right. Forget McDonald's! Easy something fresh and healthy for the same price and time, that's fresh and healthier!

So far this Gyro is the best one I've had so far. I'm from Tucson and so far it's better than any from Tucson. I've had a few from different cities like Phoenix, Gilbert ,Mesa, and Tempe. So far this has been the best. The only downside is the lady that runs the cashier was not buried engaging. No hello, no thank you. Just pretty much like hurry up and Order attitude. Then when I asked for to go box she seemed pretty irritated. Other than that I would have gave them a five stars. If you're ever in the Glendale area definitely a good place to eat.

First time in. Ordered the chicken Gyro to go. Meat was salty and no sauce anywhere to be found to mask the salt, so very dry. Basically paid for dry salty meat on vegetables with no flavor. Fries were tasteless. Owner looked angry and not even a thank you when I paid and left. Won’t be back!
