Highway robbery. $25 for 3 short ribs, 2 scoops of rice, 1 scoop of Mac salad and a medium drink. This place sucks.

I just had a half and half plate its 6 o'clock on a Tuesday, I ordered online for pick up and it was ready and waiting when I arrived. The Katsu and bbq beef was fresh and delicious and the rice and mac salad were great. The poor reviews I read before giving it a shot had me worried but I know now those people were probably already having a bad day and needed an outlet for their frustrations. I will likely come back again as I work nights in the area.

The young man behind the counter was very kind and had a very good attitude. I felt very welcome in his restaurant. He even addressed the bathroom issue created by a previous customer quickly.
The food was hot and good. I look forward to eating there again.

When I walked in I was anxious but the girl at the front was super sweet and helpful. The food came out quickly and I sat in the restaurant to eat to enjoy the ambiance and to see the rush of people come in for their free spam musubi. It's been my favorite establishment since I was introduced in hawaii. I will always support them. Thank you again for the amazing food!!

Mini Katsu plate was great! Tender, crispy chicken and love the Mac salad too!

Loco Moco all this time here in Phoenix! Polite staff, fresh ingredients great taste. Even the pineapple seems from the island as it lacks the acidity of pineapple outside of Hawaii.

Food was great. Dining area was super quiet,no music so people just sat quiet to eat. Cashiers were nice, but very short.
Still recommend.

I ordered the Kalua and Lau Lau combo.
Walking in, the mood was drab. No Aloha.
2 older people sitting behind the counter looked like they were miserable and looked sad and angry. My order wasn’t ready.
I have had this dish in Maui and this was no where close. On top of that, the side salad was in with the hot food, so when I got home it was a wilted mess with no dressing. Really sad!

Musubis are fantastic and authentic. takes me back to my island home. i wish they provided soy sauce packets to go instead of having to shake it out vigorously from a nearly empty community bottle into a plastic cup. inconvenient if you are in a rush.

I had to edit my review from five stars to two stars because L & L offered me a gift for a review that actually only sent me another vendor’s website to purchase additional products! Not cool guys that’s not how we do it on the island brah

Disgusting. The meat looked and tasted rancid. The people are rude and there’s nobody eating there anymore. This place used to be so good. What happened lol

Update: it’s been 2 years and I thought I’d give it a try. If you like lukewarm food this is your place! The only thing that improved was the girl up front was polite. Be back in another few years.
