La Madeleine is now closed to normal restaurant service. Only handling catering.

This was my favorite lunch spot downtown when I was performing jury duty service this past summer! Their grilled cheese sandwich was the BEST (never greasy but also not dry) every time I ordered it - and I liked their creamy mushroom soup a lot, too! I think parking might be an issue but I just might venture back down there as I have such fond memories! I don't have his name (should have made a point to get it) but there was one employee, in particular, who always welcomed me with a warm smile and attitude - you order at the register and they bring your food to you at the counter or at a table if that is your choice!

Unfortunately this business had a sign up that said they are closed to the public. Nothing on yelp indicated they were closed. Trying to find a spot to park in downtown Phoenix is hard enough, when I finally found parking and walked to them about a half mile I learned they were closed.

Place was great, until they randomly closed their doors without notice. Guess my monthly $3 off and loaf of bread were short lived.

I love this location their food always taste better then the other locations I have been to! The staff is always super helpful and nice. Every time I go in I always see Tyra and she is the sweetest and nicest lady I have ever come across. She always recommends the most tasty pastry's. Thank you Al madeleine for hiring wonderful staff but especially Tyra she is a gem and a big reason why I keep coming back to your location.

I went into this place not knowing what they were selling, we are subcontracted for the light rail work on Central and 1st avenue. Only to find the best creme brulee I have ever had in my life my opinion. I also tried a roasted chicken sandwich of some kind with arugula and pesto and avocado was so amazing I can't wait to tell everybody that I know about this place.

My wife (Madeleine) and I came from Miami to visit Phoenix recently. We stayed at the Hyatt and soon discovered La Madeleine to fall in love with everything it has to offer and surely visited every day for breakfast. What a wonderful place! Donovan and the rest of the staff really put the cherry on top with their incredible customer service and always a greeting smile. Your food was delicious. Please open one in Miami. Thank you for your service. ❤️ ?

Fantastic customer service, fantastic food, fantastic everything 12/10Picture this - the most buttery crispy delicious crossiant breakfast sandwich with your choice of meat (I chose bacon!)I’ve literally been to Europe and tasted croissants there and these are better. I have absolutely no idea how a slightly hidden Phoenix bakery was able to create better croissant breakfast sandwiches than literal France but here we are. Omg.My only regret was discovering this on the last day of my work trip, otherwise I definitely would’ve come there every single day.I walked in, ordered the sandwich, was met with so much kindness, they gave me my breakfast in like 2 minutes (I don’t know how this is even possible, but alas the breakfast was hot and ready) and their baked goods looked so delicious I wanted to eat them all!Probably the best breakfast place in all of Phoenix. If you’re a lover of French food like me, you can’t go wrong with la Madeleine ☺️

Pasteries are beautifully made with a great staff coffee is really good and have great mocha drinks . The only thing I wish i could change is THEIR HOURS. Fortunately for the time they are open, it's a secret haven

I love the croissants and the lemon tarts are my favorite. I wish they had a La Madeleine in California. I always have to get my desserts and the quiche is very good also.. I have not had a dessert there they I did not like.

One of my new favorites when downtown! I've had lunch here several times, along with pastries to go. I have yet to try their coffee. I wish they were open on weekends. So tasty, located in a beautiful building, fun location to see the light rail and French ambiance!

We got lunch a few doors down and saw the pastry case while walking by so we made sure to stop by after lunch. I thought the chocolate tart was going to be my favorite but it ended up being the fruit tart! We also got three miniature cheesecakes and they were okay. I would have preferred a thicker crust but that's just me.

I enjoyed the Nouveau Breakfast, Fruit Tart and a Caramel Macchiato. Everything was delicious and balanced! The cafe has a great atmosphere where you can relax and take a breath. It is a good place to have a nice quiet meal or chat with friends over great food. I personally went for brunch while waiting on results for Jury duty :)
