Mercet was my waitress here her service was excellent. The food was excellent. I could not tell you anything better about this place. I definitely will be coming back.

First time trying this restaurant after living in the area for nearly 2 years and was very disappointed. Barely any normal food on the menu, I tried mole coloradito for the first time and it was very different. My boyfriend ordered 4 tacos and 2 cokes for drinks. What we ate should not cost nearly $50. We could have ate somewhere nicer with better tasting food and service than this place. Whatever authentic Mexican tastes like, pretty sure this wasn't it. Would not go back. Burger King would be cheaper and taste better.

Not understanding some of the bad reviews. This is Oaxacan food - it will not be like traditional Mexican food or Tex Mex.
The mole chicken is fantastic, refried beans are fresh and tasty, chips come with 3 types of sauces to try and enjoy.
This place is probably a ton of fun on holidays and events.
Regarding service - the lady who waited on our table spoke very little English. Nothing a your high school Spanish won't resolve. I think the challenge is not about being willing to service the table, it's more about limits. So open up your Google translate and ask for what you want - she was darling, giggled at my efforts but did everything she could.

Wish the place had more comfy seating, booths would make the place perfect.

The mole tamales, the enmoladas, the hand-made tortillas. Fresh made tortillas? everything we ordered was amazing ? ?

Had a pleasant time. The cecina tacos are so tasty. The ambiance is refreshing; will come back to taste different dishes from their menu. They also have special prices during week.
