I ordered the Chimichanga dinner. My husband the Yucatan. We were so happy & satisfied w/ our meals. Delicious food! It was the last day of our Spring training vacation. What a shame we have to wait a year to return. We managed to have lots of leftovers. We had the flan for dessert, yum. We wish you were near us. Ty for everything.
I enjoyed eating here, it is the closest to Mexican food that I had growing up.

To begin, the portions here are incredibly generous and definitely worth the price. It's easily one of the best American-Mexican eateries in the valley. With its long-standing history, the exceptional service provided by the staff truly shines through. Additionally, the wait for your food is pleasantly short. My only suggestion would be to enhance the atmosphere by opening up the front and removing the sidewalk wall, which is currently an eyesore. Despite this, it was an overall fantastic dining experience.

This is our go to for authentic Mexican Food. We love this place.Usually I enjoy the burro ranchero. Excellent.I changed it up a little this time and tried the Chile relleno. I needed help pronouncing it so my waitress helped me out. Anyway, I loved it. It was better than the one I had a long time ago when I lived in MI. A nice tangy Chilie with a delicious filling.By the way we have many very good Mexican food restaurants in Michigan. We have a great Mexican population in West Michigan who have been with us there for generations. Many good friends. The reason I mention it is because La piñata’s Food reminds me of that style of Mexican cuisine. It’s a bit more familiar to me.I was very hungry by the time we got there. I would highly recommend showing up in that condition because you get a lot of food. I like that. It’s a great value. It was taco Tuesday when we went. I added a taco for only $2.50. That’s a bargain.Go try it out. I don’t think you will regret it. In fact I’m confident you’ll be a return customer like my wife and myself!Parking: You’ll find a spot. Just relax. The friends we met for dinner parked directly across the street where there was plenty of room.
