Old school Italian in a modern strip mall. The veal, lasagna, and the angel hair with Pomodoro were each ideal; the bread pudding was worth the drive—from Michigan.
Amazing!!! Love the food, it's soo delicious! Hospitality is awesome as well! Definitely will be coming back every time I'm in town!
The food, service and hospitality make this property stand out. Family run with the owner on site almost every time I have been to the restaurant. One of my favorite places in Phoenix. I will be back soon.
Old style Italian restaurant which means great service, food and treat you as if you are extended family coming for Sunday dinner.
We were celebrating my friends 60th birthday and our food and service were outstanding. Our waitress was kind, engaging, friendly, and attentive. Greg came over a few times to check on us as there was a loud group memorializing a friend who had passed. They asked if we wanted a quieter area, but we were fine, and it was pleasant to see caring people discuss their friend who was gone. My wife had the blackened salmon and parmesan risotto special, and I had Cannelloni special both were exceptional. We will be back, it is a great place for many occasions, and our friend really loved her bottle of wine and chicken marsala as well. Cheers 5 Stars for my friends
Food is always great!!! Service and ownership are always attentive. Live music and warm atmosphere top it off. Would highly recommend, can't wait for our next visit!
Returned to L'Amore and it did not disappoint. Very good food and the service is friendly and efficient.
We arrived and were seated promptly. Within seconds water and bread were delivered followed by our server, Tim who explained the specials and gave us menus. He took our beverage order and reappeared with them quickly. Tim answered questions and took our orders. I would like to note that soup or salad accompanied every entree. Upgraded salads were available but the house salad was perfect. Water glasses were always topped off and more bread was offered. Our meal was perfectly paced. Our entrees were absolutely delicious. They were seasoned perfectly and plating was attractive. My linguine with clams was the best I have had. My dining companions enjoyed their very generous entrees of oso buco, eggplant and the day's special. We all agreed this was one of best Italian restaurants we have visited in the area and we would return. Do your self a favor and try L'Amore. You won't regret it.
The food was great and the wait staff attentive and friendly and attentive. Had a good band playing. It was loud and my mother-in-law who is deaf didn't enjoy that. But we will go again!
It was our first time visiting and so happy we found this restaurant. The hospitality reminded me of being in a family members home. We will definitely visit again. The food and flavors are on point

Excellent food and service. This is a place that treats you like family. Every visit exceeds expectations. They also have live music on Saturday nights, and he is amazing as well!
Server was rushing our order. We had a dry lasagna that tasted like it had been frozen. We also had a pasta dish with shrimp and sausage that was swimming in marinara. The side of soup was the best of our menu items unfortunately.
I have been to this restaurant numerous times and never disappointed. The food and service is always excellent. A real familt atmosphere.
Food and service were great. They advertised a special event with a drink, appetizer and salad for a special price. But it was not clarified in the offer that only specific drinks and two light appetizer and two salads were offered. Very disappointing because I would not have been interested. The offer was misleading. We drove 40 min because it sounded fun. Ended up ordering off the menu.
This is a hidden gem. We went on a Saturday night and were instantly immersed into a mom and pop Italian dinner experience. You'd have thought it was a family reunion, every waiter/service member happy to greet you, hugging the people leaving, the owner and his wife constantly walking around to make sure everyone is having a great time. Live music that was in the center of the restaurant. Jillian our server was terrific, she was honest about her menu favorites, and made us feel special. Any time I ever want Italian I'm going here
