I was really hoping this place would be great, but it ended up being one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
We were seated quickly and greeted right away, but the service was lacking. Our waitress was short with us, didn’t check in often, and we didn’t get our drinks until after we ordered our food. Prices were high—a bottled Coke was $4.50—but we assumed that meant the food would be excellent.
For a place called Las 15 Salsas, we weren’t given chips and salsa, and when our food arrived, we were only given two salsa options, which was pretty underwhelming.
The Plato de Tasajo was terrible. A quarter of the plate was just lettuce and tomato, the beans were flavorless, the rice was plain white rice, and the tasajo was so thin that it was as tough as beef jerky. To make things worse, there was a small bug on the rice. When we pointed it out, the waitress just said it was because the food had been sitting at our table for so long and that bugs were flying around.
When we expressed our concerns about the tasajo, the waitress was dismissive, saying that since we had touched the food, nothing could be done and that "this is just how it is because it's Oaxacan food." We told her we didn’t feel like we should be paying nearly $18.50 for that dish, but she repeated that there was nothing they could do.
Then, while we were still eating, the waitress suddenly snatched the plate from in front of the person I was with and told us we needed to pay and leave immediately because "the manager doesn’t want you here anymore." They did remove the tasajo from the bill, but we weren’t even offered a box for the food we did pay for before the waitress walked away.
Just an overall awful experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered a steak plate and steak is as thin as a piece of paper. Food wasn't very tasty. Needs seasoning. Employees don't engage much with customers. They don't serve chips and salsa unless ordered. Employees wouldn't even exchange food for something different. Way overpriced for what you are getting. Would recommend finding somewhere else to eat.

Excellent!
No free chips and dip! What kind of Mexican restaurant is this?Food was decent. Not very much meat in the Oaxaca platter with pork, cost one star, they let me bring my dog on the patio. Horchata was grainy and not sweet enough for me.I won't give up macayos just yet. Cost $69 for two with 8 dollar tip , an appetizer, two drinks, and two main courses.

Very good menu. Very good staff. Very nice atmosphere. I really like this place. Allot. Definitely one of the best in Sunnyslope.
Lots of different dishes including chili relleno.
But... They didn't have cream for coffee and the seat construction in the booth was unbalanced. Other than that it's pretty awesome.

I used to go to this place a lot, the food used to be good, but my last three visits were unpleasant; I went on a Sunday at 8 pm and they returned to us why “it is only to take“ when at their time they mention that they closed at 9. After that day I did not go again on 12/23 I returned waiting for the service was better this time . It definitely wasn't like that, the waitress was with her gum the whole time, very unpleasant. I also ordered a plate of chiles stuffed with chicken and they didn't bring the handmade tortillas that they usually gave me. And the last time I went was on 12/29, I ordered a pineapple water, it was all tasteless, I let the waitress know and I asked for a melon water and it was much better, the waitress took away the pineapple water and when I looked at my receipt They charged me for both waters, even though the waitress insisted so much on removing the first one, and the green chilaquiles I ordered were all cut into pieces. I work in the restaurant industry and I know some of the customer service protocols. As a frequent customer, I have been very disappointed.
Absolutely incredible food!

First time there. Mezcal was so good! Also all the food we tasted. The local is colorful and plenty of painting details that makes me feel home (in México).
