I had breakfast/lunch here. The food was decent, and the prices were reasonable. I had heard about their deep-fried ice cream and decided to give it a try, but I’d rate the ice cream about 3.5 out of 5. They should have battered it at least one more time, if not more. The service was excellent, and dining in came with complimentary chips and salsa. The service made up for the foods short comings.

Hands down our favorite place for AZ mexican food. We've been coming here for over 20 yrs and Jesus and staff are fantastic. Food is always delish, every dish we've had is great. The salsa and beans are a particular fav, especially the hot. My husband spoons it into his mouth if we run out of chips!! The restaurant is always very clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. Parking is a little difficult but that's normal in this part of the city. Highly recommend if you're looking for real AZ mexican food, not that crappy chain Americanized stuff at other places around the valley. If you're visiting, get a local special, the cheese crisp! It's life changing, I promise.

Even the chips were impressive. Good dip came with and good salsa. I loved the green corn tamale, which is what I was looking for. It had a while corn in it which was delicious. I was missing one tamale and the issue was resolved graciously and I want to go back to get the other! Good enchiladas!

I am updating an old review to say that this has been our local comfort food spot for 11 years living in this neighborhood! Everything is delicious and everyone is so nice.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND DO NOT GO HERE!!! margarita, super acidy, crazy amount sour mix no alcohol (coming from a bartender). slow service. took 15 minutes to get water. food was cold. we were servers only table. charged $4 for ea soda. server never checked up on us. took us 45 to put in order. i recommend going anywhere but here.
