Sat down at a table waiting for my other friends to get there. As the waitress talked to another table she leaned her butt on my table. Eww. No. The carne asada was okay. The beans and rice had zero flavor. But - I did find a rock in my beans. Does that mean I won something? I won't be back.

Wait staff was great! Friendly door greeter.

Sat out on the patio and ordered street tacos. Price was high for quantity and quality. Beef tasted like lime, (no i didn't squeeze lime onto it). Chicken was ok, nothing to be excited about. The street taco was small. Three or four bites, and it was gone. Found beer prices to be kinda pricey too.

Didn't really try anything else on the menu.

It seems like this place may be under new management. We used to come here often, but over the past few years, each visit has been more disappointing.

This time, we sat outside at the bar, which normally wouldn’t be an issue. However, the window in front of us was closed while all the others were open. The bartender had to take our order by speaking around the closed window, using the next guest’s open window instead. With the loud live music, this made it frustrating to communicate—I even had to ask my significant other what he wanted to relay his order. When we finally asked if they could open the window, we were told it wasn’t working. While that may not be the staff’s fault, a heads-up before seating us there or even a sign indicating the issue would have been helpful. It also made it difficult to get service, as my partner’s drink was empty while I struggled to get a bartender’s attention from behind the wall. I would recommend sitting inside.

Food-wise, the carne fries, which are usually great, were served in a fry basket on a piece of paper. With hot fries and warm cheese sauce, the paper became soggy and started tearing into our bites—not exactly appetizing.

The atmosphere was clearly catered toward regulars, with groups loudly gathered around the bar enjoying the live music. It seems like good service and food exist here, but unfortunately, we didn’t experience it. We’ve noticed that in a lot of places—regulars get priority while new or infrequent guests feel overlooked. That’s a missed opportunity for the business because those overlooked guests could have become regulars too.

Ultimately, this visit left a bad impression, and we don’t see ourselves returning.

The cactus street taco and the beef taco were good. However the waitress upcharged me on 2 items. She gave me 2 tacos instead of 1, then a large order of beans instead of a small. One happens, 2 seems deliberate. Check your bill.

Food is always not very good here. They don't list gluten free options on the menu. Doesn't seem like there's many options.

It was OK food for the price. The chips and salsa was good. I went for green chile pork tacos and carnitas. Carnitas was flavorful but the green chile was almost flavorless. Service was perfect, and the restaurant was very nice.

I ordered fajitas and eggs rancheros, but I didn't like them at all. The fajitas didn't taste good and the eggs rancheros seemed poorly prepared. To make matters worse, the service was also terrible: the staff was not friendly and the service was very slow.

I expected a lot more, especially for the price. I wouldn't recommend it until both the quality of the food and the service improve.
