I just can't, in good faith, recommend this place as a buffet. The size of the the buffet is that of a motel's continental breakfast spread, at best.
The quality was *ok*. There is very little choice, a lot of pork and fried foods. It did cross my mind, later, when I had some tummy trouble it might have been because of this restaurant. All of this at the price of a grand buffet.
If I hadn't paid $20 to get out of there (before tip), maybe it could be considered adequate for grazing.
Perhaps the actual a la carte, takeout or non-buffet food is good. I just can't bring myself around to try that again.
Cute place. Wasn't as cute and old school charming as the pictures on Google made it look like, though.

The chinese food at Lim's is amazing, 99% of everything I tried was a home run, this is a long running restaurant of the north Phoenix area, but one thing caught my attention like no other, their Teriyaki Chicken with the side sauce is like no other, it's a shared recipe from another restaurant I used to go called the Golden Nugget in west Phoenix, when this is paired with their fried rice you can't go wrong, I will be a returning customer from now on.

Only like a dozen options. Most of the food tastes funny. Hole in the wall place but charges just as much as the big buffets.

Very limited selection. Food is OK, but not great, all self service (food, drinks, utensils, napkins) but still expect a tip. Also, it was literally 84deg, I saw the thermostat as I was going to get my own water.
For the price there are many other buffets in town that blow this place away in taste, selection, food quality, and service.

Local spot I have been visiting since late 80s. Love the local favorites. The prices are good for a buffet. Check it out
This is a really solid spot for good food. The pricing is affordable, and the beef with broccoli is the best I’ve had in the valley! They do not skimp on the beef to broccoli ratio either. I had a slight issue with a to go order tonight and called and got the kind gentleman that took my order. He did not hesitate to find a solution to my issue. The staff are always friendly too. This restaurant has more than earned its place in the community as a staple. Thank you guys for all you do, and please don’t change a thing!
Been going here 30 years and the food's been consistently delicious. In particular the sesame chicken, the fries, and the chow mein, but everything is worth trying
