Lin's Grand Buffet -Baseline

Right from the beginning I noticed that this was the lowest costing buffet that I have ever been too. Hmmm??? The restaurant itself looked clean on the surface. Ok. However, my wife loves this place and for the likes of me I don't know why other than the fact that she rants and raves over their jalapeño chicken which I found to be very sub par. At the front desk my wife informed the cashier that we wanted dining for two. They did not have coke zero so I opted to drink water. You see, these places try to sell one something even if they don't want it. Since they didn't have what I wanted I was fine with drinking water. However, the cashier said that she had already charged us for 2 drinks, as if she could not reverse or cancel the order and redo the order. She heard me tell my wife to take the charge off and when we received our receipt, we found that she charged us for 2 drinks anyway! My wife filled up about 3 plates for herself and she did not "stop at Go!" I fixed 3 plates in hopes of finding some culinary treasures. Not! Quite frankly I was wary of the food once I reached my table. I had put a large piece of fish on one of my plates and it was supposed to be salmon. But at further examination I found that the salmon meat/flesh was completely brown , the entire piece. I've never seen brown salmon before so I would not even attempt to taste it. I had tried all the types of shrimp and if one just looks at it's appearance, it's old. Reheated old shrimp, so I did not touch it. The terriyaki beef, nope. The rice noodles, suspect. So the remainder of the meal I sat quietly and watched my wife devour her food as if there was no tomorrow and tried not to display my dislike for the food. However, she could plainly see that I did not enjoy of the food at this buffet restaurant. I am just glad that she enjoyed her meal because she will not come to this buffet without me accompanying her. I probably will return only because she enjoys the food so much. I've been trying to point out to her when eating out, all food is not good and all food is not fresh and what to look for but I guess she will have to learn to make better choices over time. Or not. I just know that when we come back which I hope will be a very long time from now. She can just order for 1. I'll sit it out and eat when we get back home.

Visited this location to try the sushi and other dishes but unfortunately they did not had clam chowder. The place is too big and fancy decorated but the food in my opinion was not good enough yo give it another chance. Don't waste your time and money.

Ordered delivery through ubereats and it was very good. The combo plates are pretty good portions.

They have quite a selection. Probably something for anyone's taste. We did like the variety of shrimp and chicken.

Food was okay but not like a Chinese restaurant. Service was okay. Atmosphere was busy and loud.

The food was really good. All fresh and hot. Sometimes its not as good as today's. The service is ok. Sometimes they are a little rushed.

First thing we did we walked in and we said there’s about 50 people coming so the girl at the cashier started taking peoples money and told us to sit down. That was one of her biggest mistake. She should’ve let us go and sit down so the server could start getting drinks and count people, but she wanted to wait until everybody was there and then it took literally an hour and a half to get a drink Les beef buffet maybe should put their drinks on the floor instead of being greedy of drinking people drinking sodas then after we were almost done, the manager came over, started counting and she said we did not. There was 50 people every time I counted there was only 48. She said that we did not pay for three people and I told her that her food was not even good and I paid for two people that walked back out because they liked nothing And then I asked my nephew come in just to see the family and the lady at the cash register said yes the manager kept on counting him into the count and he never even ate my nephews in a wheelchair had a stroke and we have family from out of town. Do not take your family here. Then we lay them when we left my brother‘s wife is Caucasian and the lady she went to talk to the lady at front and she said those people didn’t pay. How did we not pay and we had all of our receipts for 48 people she needs to learn how to count beware of Lynn’s buffet profile

Loud!!! All the food tasted the same. You can't order individually as they take payment in advance. The worst was when they changed the AC filter while people were dining, it could have waited until closing. I should have just got in the car and left when I passed a pop-up vendor in the parking lot. I pass by this resturant frequently and thought there are always a lot of cars it must be great, I was tricked. If you want to eat food that tastes like it's coated in corn syrup and MSG, this is the place. Yuck.

Had the spicy orange chicken from here, it was outstanding! Tasted like real orange chicken, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Very flavorful sauce and spices. Generous portion size and they included some extra chips, sauces, and fortune cookie free of charge. Great bang for your buck and quality items, my new go-to spot. I already ate about half the chicken, so the picture is what's left over.

Food was terrible I will never go there again to place across the street is 10 times better do yourself a favor and don't go here

Amazing food and service! Great salmon! The variety from Chinese, Mongolian, sushi and American was nice. It was a clean place and good service.

Food all tasted the same. Sushi not even real, no rice vinegar. The food wasn't even hot. The ribs were dry. The desserts were dry. Definitely overpriced, don't waste your time, gas, or money going here. The staff doesn't even look happy to be employed here asking people to move so they can put products out instead of waiting or saying excuse me please. I can't even give this place 1 star.

Last week my Husband and I had a Doctors appointment in Chandler .We decided to try Lins Grand Buffet .The restaurant was very clean and the food was excellent. My favorite was the deep fried green squash. The service was ok.We will go back in the near future.
