Lo-Lo's Chicken & Waffles

So there's a DJ cutting it up so atmosphere is there. Service was great and the chicken was the best. Enjoyed the adult beverages too

My first time visiting Lo-Lo’s chicken and waffles. The food is very memorable. I’m a forever fan.

We arrived at 12:15 and did not get our food until 1:05, mind you it was a Tuesday. It was not packed in the restaurant at all and they seemed to have had plenty of workers so I am not sure why it took so long. My mom ordered the plate with three wings and received one wing, one thigh, and one breast. After such a long wait that just made my experience even more annoying. Our server was very kind on the plus! Food could have used a little more seasoning but not bad.

First time I went and it was later in the evening. I stayed till closing. Service was good and food was excellent.

Omg FOODIES DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. this was my first time in AZ and I heard u have to come here to try this place....
I came in around 11am...I was the second table. I ordered the 1st option which is 3 pieces of chicken eggs and waffles i orderd Grits and gravy, it was around $26. The food took an hour and 20mins. Didnt get and update or anything, the waitress kept walking by nonchalantly. Then When I received my food I only received the eggs and grits. I asked her where they shell eggs she said yes but they looked extremely weird, ( look at the video) the gravy was straight out the can 🤢, like it had Gelatin in it. The chicken was ok, but the Breast was CLEARLY FAKE MEAT ( Check picture) the meat was in straight layers ....WEIRD.
After about 2mins of not receiving my Chicken and Waffles I asked to speak to the manager, 15 more mins went by no manager after I seen him walk by a few times, then the food came out. By then my food was cold and I couldnt enjoy it together like a meal. Just awful. At that point I just asked for my check....no adjustments was made no apology no explanation....STILL NO MANAGER..
OH and the WAFFLE.....WAS SUBPAR...REGULAR HOTEL WAFFLES WITH A DAP OF CINNAMON.....JUST TRASH!!!

Eh, I didn’t love this experience. We waited an hour and half for our food and it wasn’t very good. Also everything on the menu was pricy. The server was apologetic but didn’t discount us for the wait. I wouldn’t return.

I love the waitress that handled the table she kept us refreshed on everything. No surprisingly add cost. Love her service. Little disappointed about the waffles and the chicken plate but the okra was good.

Everything was great. I love okra and that fried okra was fire, Our waiter Sir was on point even having multiple tables to serve. If we come back to Phoenix we would definitely come again.

This place has been on our list for years.... Why we never made it sooner is beyond me because they were wonderful. The corn bread was delicious... Loved that it had little bits of corn in it and the chicken was crispy and crunchy. 🤤 Everything was just amazing from the food, the atmosphere ( live DJ playing music ) all the way to our waiter. Just observing, all the staff was so attentive to the customers. Long story short, we loved it and will definitely be going back soon.

It was an hour wait and almost two hours then for food to be served. We left. No one wants to wait three hours for food. Especially when they are already hungry.
