What a rip off, 20% automatic gratuity on a group of six or more, our sixth person was our one year old granddaughter. $40.70 gratuity and then it gives an option to add an additional tip. Friends with us decided to pay their check separate and they got hit with a $18.00 gratuity. Double dipping company.Never hitting that place again

The area is somewhat complicated, but within the establishment everything is fine. The food is good.

Saturday morning brunch was a disaster. Waited 45mins. for biscuits and gravy and chicken and waffles. Everything was barely warm except the chicken.

Our waitress was nonexistent, the waiting area was overflowing into the streets. Employees were piled up at the front counter being non productive. Most orders came minutes after the first person was served at several tables. (who wants to eat while others are still waiting)

If a manager was onsite they should be fired. As a Construction Manager and knowing a thing or two about efficiency I would definitely make some changes.

20 minute wait turned into 30 minutes and a Togo order. Tried to order a drink but you can't have alcohol in the waiting area.

Got a text saying the table is ready. I went to the podium told them my name. I still had to wait for the table to be ready.

I ordered a knockout . 10 minutes later, she tells me we are out of ingredients to make a drink. So I ordered water 15 minutes later I got water.

Chicken was good waffle was alright.

Get your food Togo go for a good experience

Music is too loud cant talk at the table
Table rocks right and left.

I spent $60 and should have gone grocery shopping.

A lot of women at the podium with a not so smooth seating process.

We were visiting and this place was recommended. I was disappointed in the wait time to receive our order it was only two of us and we ordered 2 wings and a waffle. 30+ minutes. However we went back Saturday after Graduation with a larger party. They said wait would be an hour, after a hour and a half we asked about the wait time and again put off. After 2 hrs. the owner told us even after they fitted us it would 45 minutes before you would receive your order. First I can't believe we waited that long for chicken and waffles. No It wasn't a good experience at all. Not sure why it is so popular 🤔

To put it simply, it's alright. It was personally not my cup of tea.

Took about 30-40 minutes to get our food which was a bit cold by the time it reached us, though it was a bit busy so I can't blame them. The sides, mac and cheese, grits, and rice & gravy, were nothing to write home about. I got the ya-ya chicken something or other and it was again, just ok.
Their unsweetened iced tea was incredibly good however!!!

The atmosphere was probably the best part of the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, funny, and kind. The whole place was lively, a bit loud but in a good way. Our server and one of the hostesses in particular were total sweethearts.

Overall, I wouldn't hate to go back, but I won't be rushing there either. This was my second time going to a Lo-Lo's (two different places, the first one is closed.) and was the better of the two experiences.

Waited 15/20 mins just for a waiter, no drinks offered. They couldn't figure out who our waiter was. Major fail.

We were visiting family and decided to try Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles for the first time. We came in excited, having never been to the establishment before.

Right from the start, we felt a bit rushed to place our order. After ordering, we got our Kool-Aid drinks, which were nice, but then we ended up waiting exactly an hour for our food. When we finally ate and asked about the long wait, the response was pretty nonchalant—just a casual mention that we had arrived during rush time.

While the food itself was pretty good, the service and the long wait were unacceptable. My niece, who goes to school in the area, had already warned me about the poor service, but I like to experience restaurants for myself. Unfortunately, she was right. I won’t be returning.

Well, soul food used to come from the heart when made. This location in Phoenix did just the opposite. This food was like someone came in to work and knew they had to make greens and decided to pour the whole salt container into the pot. They also had to make the kool-aid, so they took the whole 2lb of sugar and just dumped that off in the kool-aid as well and call it a day.

What a cool place! Where else can you go and get Kool-Aid on tap? We went for dinner on a Friday evening before going to a show at the Footprint Center. It wasn't busy when we got there but by the time we left people were lining up. Our server was very friendly and even warned us in advance that fresh made chicken takes at least 25 minutes to make. She even brought us a cornbread muffin to snack on before the meal arrived. The cornbread was amazing! The chicken and waffles were less impressive but not bad. We plan to go back in the future if we're in the area!

The service is very SLOW! All our food came out separately which also made most of it COLD! And I didn’t get the drink I ordered. First & last time, Ridiculous!!!

Waited 25 minutes for someone to come to our table to take drink and food order…then another 40 minutes to get our food. After waiting all that time, the chicken was as dry as the dessert! So disappointing because never received bad food or service at the one in Scottsdale the many times we’ve been there.

I am shocked at how slow this place is we got there at 2:30 it is now 5 pm and we still haven’t gotten our food the wait to sit was about 20 mins. When we sat down the music was so loud like aggressively loud I couldn’t hear the waitress or even my boyfriend sitting next to me. After 40 they finally brought out biscuits and cornbread. I don’t know if the food is good because we had to leave my boyfriend got one bit of his food and said it was pretty good which was upsetting because everything else was so bad
