We sat on the back bar. Of Mr. Baan’s of old. It was perfect. Small and quaint but full of life. Our bartender Jesse was awesome. Great conversation. So were the drinks. The karaoke cocktail lived up. Nice selection of Thai beers. The food was outstanding. We eat a lot of Thai , and even some of this menu was new to us. The desserts too were a big surprise. The Thai dinner flavors in a panna cotta ? Yes. Worth the effort to get reservations....
Such amazing food! We had the fried bamboo shoots, seaweed salad, kabocha squash curry and lemon fish crudo, which were all super delicious. Staff was very very friendly too. We absolutely loved our dinner!
It was our first time dining at Lom Wong but we were aware of their reputation. We aren't very familiar with Thai dishes but really wanted to explore and learn. Our server was excellent and guided us to a few popular dishes - we shared everything. We enjoyed the whole experience. Excellent food, a beautiful restaurant, excellent service. We look forward to our next visit to try new dishes. A note about the location: Lom Wong is in downtown Phoenix where free on-street parking...
