Prices are a bit up there but worth every penny. The atmosphere was nice, Would be great for a date or a family outing / celebration. The beef heart appetizer Antichuchos was the best I have ever eaten which was cooked perfectly and soft and tender. The sauces were the best I have ever had - spice was like a gradient differences of heat in one deliciousness. I ordered the beef tripe Cau Cau and that was delicious and even the seafood looked good but had an order mishap at first but they took care of it. A+++ for flavor and an extra plus for service!

Second time eating at los Andes and im not going to be disappointed because the first time was delicious, rich in flavor and learning about comida peruana (peruvian food)

This place is amazing! First thing, the food is out of this world. Some of the must try things to drink are Chicha and Inca Cola (the greatest soda on earth). The best appetizer has to be either ceviche or papa de huancaina. And the most slept on dishes is aji de gallina and tacu tacu. To finish it off you need to get Lucuma. If you like thai tea, this is it. It is nearly identical but it is honestly better. Overall this is hands down the top Peruvian spot in AZ

As Peruvians we were excited to visit the restaurant. However we’re not pleased. We arrived later in the evening and were disappointed. The aguadito lacked flavor and seemed that it was made in a rush. We tried several other dishes and they were all disappointing. We will not be back.

I recommend only getting one appetizer if you're eating by yourself. The yuca la huancaina was a lot but so good. Super happy with the anticuchos. The Seco de Res was amazing and I highly recommend it.

The Ceviche Mixto with the fried Calamari was delicious. Everything tasted like it was freshly caught and made. Great portions, great prices and excellent service! A must try!

Disappointing, and overpriced for the quality.

This is what happens when non Peruvians who aren’t professional chefs dare to cook Peruvian!

If you want to eat authentic Peruvian food, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. They tell you they use “choclo” (Peruvian corn) and that’s a lie. They use white Mexican corn. As a Peruvian, I felt insulted when they tried to convince me that they were using real Peruvian ingredients. If you have been to Peru or if you are Peruvian, you will be so disappointed. Our food is so delicious and this place doesn’t honor it. It’s insulting because Peruvian people are so proud of our gastronomy which is part of our ancestral culture.

Overcooked anticuchos, super salty, sliced too thin. They obviously don’t have any idea of how to prepare our food. Chicha morada made from purple corn and powder, fake corn. Same about the Picarones. The honey was too watery and no flavor in the Picarones. They aren’t cheap so at least they should use the right ingredients!

The service wasn’t any better. The server, a lady in her 40-50’s, was so unfriendly and lost her patience when I kept asking questions about the origins of their ingredients and if the “yellow hot pepper” was fresh or frozen or a paste. I saw her making faces at me and then put a fake smile when facing me directly.

Chullo isn’t too authentic either but at least they use real ingredients and the service is superb. Go there instead. And visit my country to try the real Peruvian food.

We’ve been coming here for years and it’s only gotten better after it was bought out by new owners. We actually like it much better now as the flavors leveled up as well! It’s nice to see the new owners bring what used to be a hole in the wall to now a much finer dining experience. The prices are still very affordable and be prepared to take some leftovers home. Today we had the tallarín with lomo salteado and the meat was cooked to perfection. Well seasoned and very nice mouth feel to it! Perfect! We also had the fish ceviche that is also very well served and delicious. We have our lunch packed for tomorrow lol thank you and your team for our lovely dinner. We will be back soon. We also just learned that they offer delivery through DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub.

Was excited to try Peruvian food. I do not think this place is a good representation of their food. The Ceviche de camaron is small and looks like they use frozen shrimp. I honestly expected fresh shrimp with the ridiculous high prices. The Tallarin Saltado had a great portion, too bad it was bland. The only okay thing was the Anticucho although it was a tad bit on the salty side. The prices of these dishes would be justifiable if they were good.
