I first tried this restaurant branch in Tempe in 2018 and absolutely loved it — the flavors, the vibe, everything felt authentic and memorable. So I was excited to come back after all these years, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to what I remembered. It’s not bad by any means — the food was decent — but it lacked the wow factor it once had. Maybe it’s changed, or maybe my expectations were just high from the first visit. Still worth a try if you’re nearby, but I definitely walked away a little underwhelmed.

We were in town from out of town, staying with our cousins and we made a reservation for dinner at 7:30 on Cinco de Mayo. We walked up and they told us at the door that regardless of our reservation we couldn’t eat there because my daughter is with us and she isn’t 21. We weren’t told that when we called and we had a decent size party. So now at almost 8 o’clock at night, we have to find another place to eat. Won’t try again when I’m back in town.

THE SUPREME BREAKFAST BURRITO DOES NOT MESS AROUND - my team at work gotta EAT and they STAY hungry. These breakfast burritos are the most consistently solid breakfast burrito I've ever had. My office of 10 people order these burritos AT LEAST once a week and this kitchen crew has yet to miss the mark. (Hat's off to the homies in the back of the house).
I'm telling you right now that you will not regret smacking one of these bad boys before busting out some sales calls.

Foods good. Had a mishap with doordash pickup where I got charged for the food and the refused to remake the food or anything. Just bad customer service
Darri, at the front counter is so sweet and welcoming. I also loved the Horchata and that you can get free refills on it. The enchiladas were a little bit too spicy for my liking but we still thoroughly enjoyed. She gave us Margarita samples and we liked them! So much, we decided to buy one after all. Thanks!

My wife and I had the 3 chicken taco plate with rice and beans. The chicken was dry hard as if it was over cooked early in the morning and sat out all day. The rice and bean portions were very small. Considering how inexpensive the overhead is on rice and beans in relation to the the actual meal price you'd think they'd be a little more generous. The carne asada burrito was about 1/2 the size of that from other local taco shops in the Arcadia area. I do not recommend this place unless you are a gringo that has only eaten at Taco Bell in the past.

Third time in and I can assure you they do not put as much care into the look of the food as what the videos and pictures show. The last time in was last week. The service was incredibly slow. the food was slop on foam plates. I just don't know what is happening to this place. I have had better food at chain restaurants. If you want good Mexican food, this isn't the place to go. It is very unfortunate.

Girl behind the counter is Always friendly and greets you with a smile. Everything on the menu is great especially the rice and beans. Came here Saturday night for 2 ceviche tostadas and taco plate. This place doesn't disappoint. Did I mention the ceviche is the best in town?
