The bartenders are always so rude here and I don’t understand why. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first few times but last night is the last time I go in there.

I wore heels for the first time ever last night, I felt super insecure and had a really hard time walking in them. The line for this place was extremely long, though it didn't look like there was a lot going on inside. I stood in line for almost 30 minutes, talking to a bunch of different people and having a good time. When I finally got to the bouncer (a very short, blonde, curly haired young boy) he just looked at me and said "no." I was taken aback. I said, "what?" He says, "We think it's a no tonight. I saw you stumble in line." I was so embarrassed, in front of my new friends to even stand up for myself. I was the one who drove to the bar and had not even been drinking. Having already been insecure about not being able to walk in heels, I just stared in shock. What really stuck out to me was that he had already let in all of my friends that I was in line with. Riley Strain just died yesterday because of that exact type of situation. Luckily, I wasn't drunk and my friends all were in an uproar for me and walked out. But had I actually been drunk and stormed off and my friends didn't notice, I could've ended up dead and alone on the side of the street. So not only did this short young man accuse me of being drunk and embarrass me for no reason (and waste my time), but he put my life in extreme jeopardy by letting my friends in first and leaving me out, alone. There should be a protocol that if the bouncer does suspect someone of being drunk, they should go up to them in this EXTREMELY LONG LINE and let them and their friends know that their business is unwelcomed. This place has done it to so many different people and many others have very similar stories.I will be hiring a lawyer to further investigate this establishment. I am appalled by its behavior , especially on the same day the Riley Strain was found dead.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Bouncers are completely incompetent and brain dead. It seems as though they think they are on a power trip and only let who they want in. Was not let in because I was accused of doing coke off my arm??? The only person who “saw” this was the bouncer. My hands were in my pocket the whole time because it was cold!! LOL To be accused of something like that from a bouncer as dumb as the ones they have is a huge insult. It was so off the wall I started laughing at first. Never in my life have I been accused of something like that.I am repulsed. Do not come here ever. The security is a joke. There are so many better bars in the area. This place will ruin your night.

The bouncer was rude at entry and I could have sworn he was cracked out. Accused some random group(they looked fine?¿) of doing drugs in line(no one else saw this)and didn’t allow any of them in. Then the inside was dirty, overpriced and there were bugs crawling around the counters and bartender fruit slices. Would not recommend ever. Bad experience started off with the bouncers being rude and accusatory and hostile to group in front of mine. Bad vibes

Great Bar on 7th St Midtown. Small but they bring in a DJ and limited space to dance. Great vibes. Some of the best bartenders. Outside setting with heaters if need be.

Great watering hole in the midst of the "Arts district" of Roosevelt Row. Just enough space between indoors/outdoors to not get too crowded, with a bar for each. Also a food truck with can be a roll of the dice, but still there's some kind of food offering. Love when there is live music out

This place sucks big time. Be prepared to get kicked out for simply existing. Nick the owner might claim “safety” reasons for treating his customers like trash, but how come superior bars that get more clientele like Sazerac and Churchill don’t treat them poorly? The security and owner at this spot are on a sad sad power trip. Almost every bar in downtown Phoenix has a cool outdoor area, don’t settle for this pathetic excuse of an establishment.

I went there on a Saturday night, casually sipping on some drinks, but man, the vibe was so cool and lively. No live music that night, but it was still a blast. If you're down to chill, have some random chats, and get reasonably priced drinks, that's the bar you need.
