A smaller ma and pop sandwich shop, very clean, nice atmosphere with excellent service and the food is good. Feels like a sandwich shop asthetic but a lot nicer than any subways style shop. A good stop for a quick easy no hassle lunch.

I stopped in for lunch and I’ve been there 4 or 5 times over the last 5 years. Lunch was just as good as before. I don’t recall the actual menu name. I had a toasted Chicken sandwich with cheese, pesto and tomatoes on it. It was toasted to perfection and tasted great. All the flavors complemented each other. This is a try gem and family business. If you been I bet you are a regular. If you like supporting local head their way. You will be happy.

The food is good, however there is a woman in the morning that is in charge of the cashier who on multiple occasions has been rude and treating customers as if they’re stupid. If you request something on the menu that she says is unavailable she will be condescending and unhelpful. She is impatient and dismissive. This makes me uncomfortable with trusting this company with making my food, considering she is the first person I see. She is representing the company and their mission. It does not leave a good impression. I’m paying for a service, the least I can expect is being treated with respect. I understand if it was a one time instance where she was having a bad day, however this happens on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, I will not be returning anymore. I do not feel comfortable giving this company money in exchange for a service I’m paying for while receiving disrespect for having a question about the menu.

new resident to az so this is the first time trying Lunch Break. i take my dog to the dog park close by and came across this amazing spot today. i was skeptical about getting egg salad from anywhere other than homemade, but because its lent i ordered it. best sandwich ever and the cream of potato soup was incredible too!! so glad i found this hidden gem. this will be my go to spot for quick meals to go!
