This place is one of my favorite spots in Phoenix. I always come here when I’m around for a coffee and a pastry, and honestly anything you try here is good. Their Mac n’ Cheese is one of the best but I definitely recommend dine-in, since it’s prepared differently when ordered to go. This place never disappoints!

Tables are long . Pretty much for you to share with other people. You dnt really get to have your own personal space . The tables, pretty dirty. I dnt know , not my type of restaurants .food is okay . My orange juice was watered down .

We live right down the street and come here a lot. Food and drinks are always delicious, but goodness that was maybe the meanest barista I’ve ever encountered. I think we caught her at the end of her 2:30 shift today. Glared at us the entire time, missed my request for lavender in my drink, we requested our desserts and drinks to-go and had to remind her, then she still gave us one of our drinks and two of our desserts on dine in dishes. At the end of our order, she just walked away and crumpled our ticket without saying anything to us so we didn’t even get an opportunity to tip or see our receipt. We are nice people, so not sure why she was so mad at us. Hope she has a better day

The atmosphere was cool & the spot is a little hidden but they have good parking. I was super excited to try this coffee shop but unfortunately the barista on shift was very rude, demanding and passive. It may have been that she was tired but I didn’t appreciate the way she treated the costumers & myself. My drink was also lukewarm and not very hot. Maybe I’ll come again in the future & can update my review to be better but this was my experience tonight.

This place is so popular and I don’t understand why I’ve heard of Lux central being mentioned so many times in coffee shops in Az to try, places in az for good drinks and pastries etc. 1) I’m aware this place is popular I popped in on a Saturday morning and it was packed and so loud and the area inside is so small for seating, for the line to order which was annoying 2) I ordered their “house made” chai. I get my drink and I’m not kidding it was just milk and cinnamon spice in my cup anyone who knows anything about making drinks knows cinnamon will not mix with liquid that really pissed me off especially considering it was not cheap for how small it was they basically gave me spicy milk so I couldn’t even drink it I mean who would want to? that sounds disgusting and it WAS 3) the tomato soup was damn near $20 and tasted like straight up Tabasco who makes tomato soup spicy? 4) the atmosphere is garbage half the room is filled with people working on laptops, the other half is regular restaurant seating meanwhile it is so loud in there from the combination of music and capacity of people

Excellent espresso shots! I’ve tried the espresso con pana which is hard to find at this level. Cortado did not disappoint. I’ve purchased their coffee beans which pulls an almost effortless crema & will purchase again without a doubt.

This eclectic spot made this Berkeley, CA gal feel right at home. The food was delish and the vibe is relaxed but high energy because both things can be true at once. Such nice folks! The baker, Britney (sp?) not only prepares incredible baked goods but knows and engages with the regulars. The coffee is superb. A zillion stars. Thanks for the warm welcome to Phoenix!
Wonderful little hidden coffee shop with fantastic retro atmosphere. Very glad we stumbled across it! Highly recommended - try the blueberry coffee cake.

Great coffee and incredible baked goods. I was in on business and had one not so great interaction with service and one good one. The shop feels like home and is cozy. I’ll be back to get breakfast, every plate that went out looked so good.
