Lux Central has delicious salads, great tasting mac and cheese, and plenty of pastry options. The staff was super chill, too.I was visiting from out of town and Lux Central is definitely a spot I would frequent if I was local. Vibes are awesome there!

We wandered into Lux Central for brunch while vacationing in Phoenix. We loved it so much we ate here 4 times over 3 days.What we tried: breakfast sandwich, farmer’s market scramble, biscuits and gravy, chicken over risotto, pesto mac and cheese, 4 different cocktails, cortado, iced latte, tea cookies, cinnamon roll, pecan bar, cookie sandwich, and scones. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC!Beyond the fantastic food, the vibes here are immaculate. The fun music playing overhead, the baking and cooking done in front of patrons at the bar, and an overall feel of community. We are sad we can’t bring Lux home with us, because we would be regulars if we could. Don’t miss this gem while visiting Phoenix.Parking: Parking lot with ~15 spots. Free, non-time restricted street parking directly outside of parking lot.

An eclectic little coffee shop that is so easy to miss as you drive by. If you like a low ceiling warehouse style with a close-in atmosphere, then Lux fits the bill perfectly. Be prepared to rub shoulders with your fellow coffee lovers though, since the layout of the space is very linear without a lot of room for traffic flow to/from the cashier and pick up spot. Seating is varied with a few comfy chairs and a couch near the front door and tables/chairs filling the rest of the space. Another draw back is the volume inside: music is a little loud and as the room fills the chatter can quickly become a low roar which can make it difficult to carry a conversation. This is starkly contrasted by brief moments between songs where the silence is almost deafening. The menu is phenomenal though; good food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a plethora of baked goods and pastries! Coffee options were straight forward with a little custom flair on a few items. Overall a good spot, well run and open later than most other coffee shops. Just not if you’re looking for a quiet coffee shop to chill at.

Lux serves delicious food and coffee in a delightfully chaotic atmosphere. We had a few pastries which were perfectly prepared. We also got steel cut oats which were just incredible. It was served in a coffee mug and had these giant, delicious blueberries and candied pecans on top. Just so, so good.I do this silly thing where I get a drip coffee to test out a coffee shop. I figure the drip coffee is hardest to hide the coffee flavor, so if it is good, then the coffee shop is good. Well the drip here was amazing. Really excellent and the rest of the coffee we tried (only a latte so far) was excellent too.Awesome all the way around. The vibe was unlike anything I've experienced before too. Baking, cooking, juicing, coffee making all happening. People sit together. Sometimes you're sitting at the same table they're rolling out cookies. Or maybe you're sitting at the juicing station.Anyhow, I just love this place. I'm sure to come back whenever I'm in the area.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, fewer vegan options. But they do exist.Dietary restrictions: Several vegan options available in the pastries and on the menu. They did run out of oatmilk right after my order at around 9:30 on Easter Sunday (and it seemed quite busy).Parking: I had no problem finding a spot, but I never would have found this place without eater phoenix and Apple Maps.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on ground level. But those in a wheelchair might have a tough time navigating inside.

Chill place, can be crowded and louder on the weekends, but great place for a coffee, tea, dessert (love their cookies ?) and I’ve enjoyed their delicious bacon jalapeño mac & cheese as well as a refreshing summer strawberry salad. Great place to meet up with friends or work/study as well. Overall, would recommend to stop by here for a quick bite or enjoy a cup of tea/coffee.
