We are regulars at Mama Olga’s and they are great people, always great service but it seems like they changed their ingredients or maybe it is someone else making the tamales this past year and halfish because the flavor if not the same. The masa doesn’t taste like masa seems like too much additive and there is a strong sour taste to the tamales and way too much oregano. Don’t taste like the good ol’ authentic tamales we started buying years ago. Still decent but need to find somewhere that has tamales that just taste like tamales not where going to go then they change it up. Would love recommendations

Great food!
Went in to sample a tamale and there were flies everywhere and no hand soap in the restroom.. tamale was under cooked.
We bought half dozen of each tamales 🫔 we tried on from each all very under cooked I wish I would’ve read reviews before…. I paid 60.00 dollars very disappointed… I’m steaming them right now….
I honestly don't even know how this place has so many good reviews the tamales that we were sold were undercooked, chalky, and tasted sour! When we went back to ask for a refund we were told that nothing was wrong with them and the woman would not give us our money back! Don't waste your money here horrible food and horrible customer service! The owner called us back hours later and asked if we could come back so he could give us a refund, we drive back down and the owner was horrible to my boyfriend. He tried to lecture him before giving us our money back! We tried to cook the tamales more and he tried to take credit for them being the texture they were supposed to be! Even after we had cooked them more for an hour they still did not taste right! The owner asked us how many we had tried from our 18 tamales we ordered and charged us almost 20 dollars for 5 tamales! The tamales we tried that were shared with other people were mush and fell apart we had to throw them away! The owner was so rude and was telling my boyfriend "well everyone else loves my tamales" then where is all of the business because I didn't see a single person there the 3 times that we went back! We will never come here again or recommend this place to anyone else EVER! Please save your money and go some where else where they actually value their food they are selling and their customers!

Great tamales! I usually pick up at the farmers markets. I see a lot of negative reviews from people giving one star reviews to many genres of foods, the repeating factor being them selves ?. Anyways, these are like the ones I grew up with so I love them and the people here!
I wouldn’t trash another tamale place because they didn’t taste like, look like, have the same meat/masa ratio etc. as any other tamale because literally every family, city, region makes them differently and each is their own work of art.

I catch them at a farmer's market. Best tamales ever. Her worst batch is better than the best every other place has to offer.

I had the 3 taco combo, and it includes rice and beans. My wife had the tamale combo, and it also includes rice and beans. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and we plan on coming back to enjoy authentic mexican food. Highly recommended.

The tamales are delicious. We don’t go for a sit down meal as seating is very limited. Wonderful family business. I have purchased many dozens for parties ordered ahead and everyone loves our parties when we serve these tamales.
