I was not impressed, and the service was not very good. The waiter messed our order up, and it seemed like he had too much on his own plate. I had to admit I was disappointed cause we just moved into the area and was looking forward to having a nice dinner with the family. The waiter was a nice young man. it seemed like they had this young man waiting on to many tables, or they were short staff. It's definitely not worth the price. The alcohol was definitely watered down because I couldn't taste the alcohol. The food was cold by the time it got to the table. So I have to give this place a one star. Sorry
The Tortilla soup came out cold to the touch. Tasted good but cold

Great neighborhood favorite! It is not the swankiest spot in town but predictably good food and nice service!

The food was delicious and the server was very friendly. However, where we were seated, near the kitchen or restrooms, there was a fowl smell-- perhaps drain or sewer.

You can't go wrong with Manuel's. This place feels a little older than some of the other locations, but the food did not disappoint, and the service was excellent.

3/22/2023 3:30pm-Waited for over twenty minutes and zero waitresses/waiters came to take our orders or even acknowledge us. It was literally dead, very few customers with staff just walking around in circles. I also was here a few weeks ago and same thing horrible service. I asked for a corporate number and they gave me a number where no one takes ownership. Save your money!

I've been going there since I was a kid, and I understand over the years prices increasing due to inflation. Right after the COVID lockdown, their prices increased so substantial that it's barely affordable for a family to go to dinner.

Best chili rellenos I've had since California back in the fifties. However they have changed the Rellenos and don't dip them in egg anymore. They apparently pour an egg slurry on the griddle, make an omelet and roll the chili up in that. Not the same.
At first I thought it was a chili wrapped with a tortilla like it was an enchilada! They brought another and it was much the same as the first but the egg wrap wasn't overcooked as the first. Flavor excellent but just not the same as a stuffed relleno.

"I recently visited Manuel's Mexican restaurant and had a decent dining experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made up for some of the shortcomings of the restaurant. While the food was okay, the atmosphere could use some improvement. The restaurant appears to be a bit outdated, and the restrooms could benefit from a thorough cleaning and renovation. Specifically, I was disappointed to see graffiti in the restrooms, which took away from the overall experience. With a bit of updating and attention to detail, Manuel's could be a great spot for Mexican food. As it stands, it's an okay option, but not without room for improvement."

I have been going to the Manuel's since I was a kid in the 90's. Going on over 30 years of memories (as I am now turning 40) here! Always, they best (next to Vale Luna of course, which both places rank on my top mex food!!) Sonoran Mex style food!! I havent been in a few years as living way out north west now, but anytime I'm back in my old neighborhood, I always make a point to visit Manuel's!!!

It's been years since I've been to Manuel's . I don't know what happened, or maybe it was just this particular one,but it was depressing. Despite there being almost nobody there the food was overcooked, even the cheese crisp was burnt, my tacos were dry and the margaritas were mixed wrong or something was just not right with them. The server was nice and the hot sauce and salsa were just as good as I remember.
