I stopped here for dinner around 5:00. I didn't have a reservation and I got sat right away. They have an outdoor patio and bar area and also the normal dining room area. I sat outside at a high top table. My server was Audra. She greeted me right away and took my drink order. She was so sweet and friendly. For my meal I ordered the Farfalle A La Vodka with a starter ceasar salad. The salad came out with crisp lettuce and the perfect amount of dressing on it. My pasta came out hot and fresh and was absolutely delicious!! There were small chunks of tomatoes in the sauce that I thought made it yummy and made it more than just a sauce on noodles. The noddles were cooked perfectly, not over done like a lot of places. Audra and the rest of the staff I interacted with were all super friendly. The ambiance is nice. Everything was super clean. There were families with small children so it's kid friendly. I will definitely stop here again if I'm in Phoenix.

Amazing food! Everything was delicious and presented beautifully! The prices are very reasonable! Service was amazing, everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable! Incredible comfortable seating. You can eat in or outdoors, at the bar or in the restaurant itself. I highly recommend this place!

This was our initial visit. Cocktails and food were good. The shrimp appetizer was average - shrimp was chewy and overcooked. We had 3 pasta dishes that we enjoyed. Very large portions. Thank you for a great evening.

Bartender Austin is the man...food not great, ordered a chicken cutlet and got a chicken finger....not authentic Italian food....pasta was so/so....

Food was ok. Nothing memorable. Our waiter opened his first bottle of wine ever so that was an interesting experience. (Sarcasm but can't imagine he's done this more than a handful of times ever) Good atmosphere, patio looked nice. Pizza may have been the better way to go. They looked great. Maybe give it a second chance for a salad and pizza after shopping some day but not considering a great Italian restaurant compared to others in the area.

We had a great experience! Enjoyed the outside seating, had the calamari appetizer, which was very good. I loved the short rib - super flavorful! Our server was Sam, cute kid (yes, we're older) and very friendly and attentive. Not a huge menu, but found several good options. We will definitely be back!

Not authentic but delicious. We weren’t impressed with the atmosphere but the food was great. We recommend the short rib ravioli and the primavera. Service was also on par with them being attentive but not too over bearing. We paid more than we expected. Solid 3.5-4 stars.

Second visit to this place. Food takes a good while to arrive even when the place is half full. First time we ordered the short rib ravioli it was the bomb, however the second time it was like the ravioli were frozen bought in and with little sauce. The spaghetti meatballs were dry with little sauce and bland. I asked for salt and pepper as there was none on the table; on both visits I was made to feel like I was making an unreasonable request with the salt and pepper. I’m sorry but your food is under-seasoned and down right bland. The arrogance of thinking your bland food is perfectly seasoned for every pallet speaks volumes, not least when your salt and pepper shakers are dirty and greasy and the salt and pepper are of a quality I would find in lesser establishment. Place is way overpriced for the quality of food and service.

Pricey, no bread which you would think you would get at an Italian restaurant, spaghetti and meatballs was very peppery and spicey, like all you could taste, same with the chopped salad, pizza was very thick dough and greasy.

Marino's is a gem in the sea of corporate chains in Desert Ridge. A great family-owned spot that serves amazing Italian food! We stopped by on St. Patrick's Day for an early dinner before getting together with friends. The Salmon with Risotto and Spaghetti and Meatballs were delicious. Service was top notch and the even had some great all-day Happy Hour specials. We'll definitely be back.

Won't go back. Service inattentive, food mediocre at best, specialty cocktail awful. Server was friendly and chatty but would disappear for 10 minutes at a time. Arrived and sat at table before our companions but no one came by to offer water or drinks until our guest sat down 10 minutes later. My wife's salmon was average but my seafood linguine made me sick. Stomach ached the rest of the evening. My wife's prickly pear cocktail was weak. My Empress Aviator cocktail looked like dirty dishwater and had no discernible gin flavor. Empress gin is know for its unique purplish color. The drink lost that unique appearance and simply tasted like sweet water.

This was our first visit and it won't be our last. Our hostess warm welcome and server Reid genuine hospitality and excellent service nicely augmented our delicious meal. Thank you! See you soon.

Went here with the family yesterday afternoon. Service was awesome, Pizza was excellent, and my kids say they have the best penne pasta they've ever had. We will definitely be back soon.

Disappointed with this new spot despite the positive reviews. Stale bread, expired lettuce on sandwiches, and soggy, flavorless thick pizzas. Service was okay but slow, and the place was empty. Appetizers were average, on Olive Garden level. Wouldn't recommend.
