Overall, great food but pricey. The price is the only reason we are giving it a 4-stars.The service was great! Everyone was friendly and considerate. We got the Cubano, Kyoto Bowl, and Caesar Salad. Cubano was delicious along with the sweet fries which were crispy (the way we like our fries). The Kyoto Bowl was also delicious but we wish is had a little more steak. Last, the Caesar Salad had a lot of dressing, which we don’t mind but we know some people might. Also, the Caesar Salad is the type you will want to use a knife to cut. It’s full leaves of lettuce with the dressing and cheese on top. We enjoyed it but wanted to let people know in case you’re looking for something more traditional.Unfortunately, we were starving so didn’t get any food pictures but we will be back and will add more in the future.Parking: We were staying at the hotel but if we hadn’t been, parking is tough. Some friends had to park a few blocks away. Probably to be expected on a Friday night.

Match is located in the lobby level of the Found:RE hotel in Mid Town off Central Ave and Rosevelt.. It definitely does not have that Hotel Restaurant feel, its got that locally owned and run vibe happening. Parking is easy, turn off Central and Portland, you find the hotel parking lot is plenty big enough and simply self park. The eatery space it cozy with a great outdoor seating area with fireplaces and couch's. We sat inside as it was a bit chilly out, for a Friday night we were surprised at how slow it was, in all fairness we did choose to eat at 6pm and by the time we were leaving there were a few more tables rolling in. Drinks... I of course gravitated towards the Navigator Napa Valley Cabernet ($16) and Rose went with the Prickly Pear Margarita ($14). Now in most modern day eateries the standard pour on wine has become 6oz or 4 glass's to a bottle, at Match they are sticking with the old school 5oz pour so this is a good example of you might want to order a bottle at $62 vs Glass pricing of $16ea... The Margarita was good.. Definitely nothing to focus on, very generic in todays world of crazy mixology. For starters we opted for the "Grilled Shimp Cocktail" ($14) which stood out simply because you typically don't see shrimp "Grilled" and served with Cocktail sauce... The dish arrived and I was totally wrong in what I was expecting, the Shrimp which were a standard 16/20 count were grilled and then chilled... Strange but that's what innovation is right! The jury is still out on this one.. its was not bad but I kind of think there are some things that should not be messed with and a "traditional" Shrimp Cocktail is one of them. For Entrees Rose and I shared the Al Pastor Style Pork Tenderloin ($32) and a Chicken Ceasar Salad ($22). I wont boar you with the Caesar Salad, the Pork arrived and the presentation and use of colors were outstanding. But...the first thing that stood out was the plate that this dish was served on was room temperature... In a dinning room that was maybe 75deg, the food was definitely on the cooler side and certainly not "Hot".. Also the pork itself was not what I would envision as being "El Pastor" or marinated and slow cooked. The pork itself was on the side of being flavorless and a bit on the tough side (But that could also have been due to the dish not being hot). The black beans and grilled pineapple made most of the flavor in this dish, I understand that food is an interpretation of the chef.. but calling something by its traditional namesake "Al Pastor" there should be some part of the dish that resonates back to its roots, and this was a mis. I really like the space for its simplicity and I think in the milder months (after it warms up) the Patio would be a great space to visit on a mid-day in the week and have appetizers and cocktails. If your looking for a date night spot, I'd pass on Match. Read more of our Reviews at www.YourEverydayEats.com

Love the little mercantile attached to this eatery. Everything from kids stuffed toys to bottles of wine, sunglasses to lip gloss, and gift ideas galore. The staff were polite, friendly, and chill. I was staying the attached hotel but really only had the opportunity to enjoy an affogato for dessert. Served super basic but they have the gelato and espresso combo that made this one of the best I've had in a long time. It seems like a good place to plant yourself on any given day. Comfortable vibe.

i go here all the time because the happy hour is so good. the chicken sandwich and the burger are super tasty. the only thing that disappointed was the salmon pasta, which was pretty much tasteless which for $28 was disappointing.

Recently had a get together with friends at MATCH and we all really enjoyed our meals! The sweet potato old fashioned was something I really enjoyed, being strong but super smooth (especially for the happy hour price)! The shrimp and grits didn’t disappoint at all. The grits were very creamy and the spicy sausage was a nice touch. Ambience was chill and pretty quiet on a weekend evening.

Dined over Christmas and stayed at Found:RE upstairs on a staycation. I love the items in their marketplace. Whoever does the buying - kudos! Their cocktails were creative, and we enjoyed their well-priced four-course Christmas night dinner. Casual and chill - what I was looking for this holiday. Elizabeth Riley there was super helpful in assisting me with questions and comments - thank you!

Nice little restaurant bar inside of the lobby of the "Found-Re Hotel". If you'd like to try their food out, I suggest doing their happy hour first, because you can almost get the same food that you would at dinner, but for a cheaper price. We sat at the bar at this visit and tried all kinds of happy hour food we had the flatbread pepperoni pizza, the gooey cheeseburger, a side of fries and the twice cooked wings. Unfortunately, the fries were cold and the wings were fully attached. meaning the drumettes and the flats were all in one piece, so it made it hard to eat and messy. Not to mention they tasted as if they were cooked in peanut oil. which did not fair well for me later that night while drinking many alcoholic beverages. We were attending a concert later that night so I didn't wanna spend too much at the bar seeing I'd be buying a beer at $16 a can at the concert so I ended up buying their $5 can "surprise" in which they grab a bagged can outta the fridge and then reveal it to you after it is purchased. I have to admit it was fun not knowing what you were gonna get and trying out new beers that you'd probably wouldn't buy otherwise and then end up liking. Our bartender was attentive and friendly. He made sure my glass was filled and I was satisfied with my "surprise beers". We didn't eat from the dinner menu so this review is just for the happy hour. There isn't a lot of seating inside the building but I did see more outside unless I missed something.

I stopped in on a Friday night because the place looked interesting and inviting with the open/al fresco dining and its unique signage stating “Eat/Drink/Shop”.I grabbed a bowl of the tomato soup which had a nice kick to it. Overall, it was a really good experience.I plan on coming back with my wife sometime soon!
