Maya's Kitchen Indian Cuisine

Very good food and service. Not recommended for 1st date unless both of you consider yourself foodie and love Indian food.

We got it doordash. Food was excellent, about as good as any Indian food I've ever had anywhere. They also carry Thumbs Up soda, among other things. Easy 5 stars. Big portions too.

This place never misses. Consistent quality and service. The family is so kind and Mom in the kitchen always has a smile. It's a welcoming environment. We've never dined in, as it's a small space, but everyone seems happy that is. The food is always piping hot even when we get it for takeout. I truly love this restaurant and the people that run it. Thank you for being our Indian gem in the desert.

We have only gotten takeout at Maya's, but it has been fantastic! We have gotten chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, and vindaloo curry chicken. The butter naan was a bit under-baked and chewy compared to the garlic naan, but this is minor. We definitely plan to return on a regular basis. By far, the best Indian food we have had in Phoenix. Even our teen who normally will not eat it loved Maya's, and actually ate an entree instead of just naan and rice.

SO happy I found this place, my absolute favorite Indian restaurant in all of AZ. We order it to-go, but it’s also so cozy and inviting inside- plus the smell of all the spices is incredible. The owners/ staff have always been so friendly, too. 10/10!

Vacationed here for a few days. Where I come from, Indian food is scarce. I have had some amazing Indian food experiences in bigger cities, and even more so when I have travelled to SE Asia. Maya’s had the best Indian food I have ever had, and my friend agreed. I had chili naan while he had butter naan. I had lamb vindaloo and he had lamb curry. Everything was the best we’ve had. This was our first dinner on the trip, impossible to beat. Thank you Mayas’s kitchen! Dreaming about your food now that I’m back home.

Also the waitress was helpful and friendly and the magicians in the kitchen bid us farewell with thankful waves and smiles. So grateful.

Overall 5/5 stars for Maya’s Kitchen! Lots of pros and some cons, but will definitely be back! Butter chicken was so flavorful and such a good portion size! We’ve tried other Indian restaurants in the area and it’s by far the best. Was disappointed in the naan. We did a take out order and half of the naan was so burnt it was almost inedible. It was thin and crunchy and wasn’t at all like the other half! Other half was deliciously chewy and garlicky. Would love to try it again to see if it is better! Wanted to get more than just two pieces of Gulab Jamun but it is what it is and we were glad to try it! We will be back!!

Ate there for the first time last night. The Samosas with choley and chicken vindaloo curry were excellent. Perfectly spiced with plenty of chicken. The garlic naan was good too. It’s my new favorite Indian food restaurant.

Our new favorite place for take out! The online ordering is very easy, and the order remains in the system for the next time so you can remember what you chose.
We love the Samosas, Tikka Masala Chicken. Biryani Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Sag Paneer, and Garlic Nan. All yummy!
However, the eat in atmosphere is not my favorite.

My husband and I eat out often and we were looking to mix it up on a Saturday night. We are so happy that we ran across this restaurant. The food was absolutely divine, the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was homey. If you like Indian food and are looking for authentic Flavor look no further, you have found it!
Not to mention, the chai tea is spot on. We will definitely be coming again and we will also bring friends with us! Happy we found a new restaurant for our rotation.

We ordered Maya’s Kitchen through DoorDash for the first time and were absolutely blown away. From start to finish, everything was outstanding! The food arrived hot, perfectly packaged, and clearly made with care.

Every dish was bursting with flavor, and the meat was incredibly tender. The coconut curry (with chicken) deserves a special shoutout, it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Not overly sweet, just the perfect balance, and the chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection.

The garlic naan was another standout. Huge portion, soft, and unbelievably delicious, I could’ve eaten a stack of them! The portion sizes overall were generous, making it not only satisfying for dinner but great for leftovers or late-night snacking.

If the to-go experience was this incredible, I can only imagine how wonderful dining in would be. We’re already looking forward to our next order (or visit!).

If you’ve been hesitant to try Indian cuisine, this is the perfect place to start. Maya’s Kitchen will impress you, don’t wait to make it your next meal!
