I've been going to mackenzie's for years. Shrinkflation has happened here. Got flipping the bird the breading was completely different for what I'm used to. Much less chicken and it just wasn't flavorful. Love the bar but it affects where I spend my money.

Have become a regular here & Mike immediately serves me my standard drink, ginger beer & helps make menu items dairy free. Ty MacKenzie's staff for all being so amazing!

This place is excellent if you have the right expectations. Very much a sports bar with awesome hot wings and nachos and beer. Also walking distance too Brophy football games!
Fun local atmosphere with great staff. Beer selections was fantastic and even with a full bar the waitress was amazing.

I have been a regular at this bar for a while, but after my most recent visit, I’m seriously reconsidering coming back. I asked the staff to put on the WNBA finals (one team playing being the hometown Phoenix Mercury) - a simple, reasonable request that others in the bar had also made.
Instead of support or even basic decency, I was met with homophobic, and misogynistic comments from another patron - loudly, and in front of staff even though I had no prior interaction with this person. What made it worse was the complete silence from the bar staff. Not one person stepped in to shut it down or even knowledge it. This kind of behavior should never be tolerated, especially in a place that claims to be welcoming to all.
If a bar can’t stand up for its LGBTQ+ patrons, especially when they’re being harassed in plain view, it is not a safe space, it’s just another bar that picks and choo$es whose comfort matters.

1st time here to check out an NFL game & glad I stopped in. Mike provided great service & was very friendly. The chips & salsa w/ guacamole was a good starter. Their mild, honey bbq wings had too much sauce on it but were flavorful.
Been a regular here during the NFL season. This time around I've gotten served by Tom & James. They're both friendly & attentive. Love having a local, family owned bar where they play all NFL games & the patrons are friendly & welcoming. Highly recommend!
