Hell to da NAW! This restaurant helps King Stevenson with his child trafficking scheme. He staged an illegal and unlawful “kidnapping” of his own children just because the Mom left him and NOW still to this day she’s going through excessive legal proceedings and other avenues to find out if her children are even still alive. She hasn’t seen or heard from her son’s in years and has been dealing with this crisis and trauma that has been infringed upon her. Due to his previous extreme domestic violence and almost murdering the children’s Mom while pregnant with their 1st son (that he asked for, in which he did ask for 2 son’s) she does have reasonable suspicions of her children’s well-being however she also knows that King appears to have healed from his abusive past. Not all bad news, he does take care of his woman and child(ren) financially and sometimes mentally and emotionally, as long as she doesn’t leave him, after she leaves him he will blatantly let you “I’m not doing nothing for children” and will disappear with no way to contact, and he will not contact the Mom even though he can after he ruined her career and leaves her with all the responsibility of being a New Mom. The impact of the emotional distress is beyond devastating. This woman loves her son’s more than she loves herself 😰💔
As I read these reviews on here. Nothing compares to the service I experienced yesterday. Rudeness. No friendly smile or welcoming. Me and my friend had to seat ourselves. I live in the barrio too! Had a friend help me with repairs on my truck and thought I would treat him to Rosita’s. My friend came from the westside to help me out. What a disappointment!! The owner got to tell the staff to not frown and look like the love their Job. Waited for service and when we got it. We were treated like we weren’t welcome. I finally went up and paid for chips and drinks and canceled order and left. Went next door and treated much better. I ate here before. It’s a hit or miss on good food. I will never step foot in here again. I’ll take my business somewhere else where I will feel welcome. Adios!
We tried Rosita's based on the good reviews that we had read, but walked away very disappointed. The service was slow. The cadillac margarita that we ordered tasted like it came from a cheap mix, and we had to request the tortillas that came with our meal. The chicken enchilada had alot of chicken, but the sauce was not very good. the chile verde was not much better. Sadly, we will not be coming back.
Food was all trash, dry meat, disgusting tacos filled with grey beef purée mixed with potatoes. Tamales dry, carnitas dry, half my plate was beans and the enchiladas I ordered after sending my first plate back were too salty to eat!!! Worst food I’ve ever had, I wish I had taken my dad somewhere else for Father’s Day, I was embarrassed!!! They charge you for chips, Wtf
I eat here a lot. The tacos are delicious & they are easily some of the best tacos in the area. The prices are very reasonable. It’s a little hole in the wall place (very authentic Mexican) with parking next door. They keep the tables clean and the staff is friendly.
Parking: Park in the dedicated spaces next door.

The food was average. Service was good. But when it came time for the bill, I pointed out that I had been overcharged for my entree (by $3, not a big deal) but the waitress smiled and refused to fix it. Really? And it's ok to charge for chips and salsa, as many restaurants do, but don't set the basket down without asking, assuming your customers know that. Won't come back.
First time here and nice atmosphere. I like to try mole whenever I go to a new restaurant. The mole here is really really good! The others that I ate with (6 total) all really liked their food as well! The service that we got was phenomenal. Will come back here again!!
What restaurant serves warm beer? Also the hot sauce was so hot I couldn’t eat it but the reason this place got 1 star outta me is the chips were warm. The taco was awful and the cheese enchilada wasn’t much better the sauce had hardly any flavor. Obviously the reason for potatoes in the taco is to stretch their dollars…but no thank you it tastes just plain weird! If you want good Mexican food you don’t wanna go here! Yuck
Came huge based on TA reviews - very glad we did. My friend says their beef enchiladas are the best he's had anywhere. I liked my chicken burrito. We were here for dinner. It was not slow. All the other customers, except for us, were Mexican-American - some families. I regard this as a vg sign - when people familiar with a cuisine pick a restaurant serving it.
Every time I visit Phoenix I search for the ultimate Mexican food. This place was highly rated. Waited at least 20 minutes during the weekday to get inside for lunch. The food was good but I wouldn't go back...

After landing past lunchtime at Sky Harbor airport, we put “nearby restaurants” in the GPS. Rosita’s popped up and we headed straight there. Definitely an urban location, narrow bumpy access to back parking lot. Service was friendly, if not fast, but once the food arrived (breakfast burrito, tacos and enchiladas) it was delicious, with large portions at reasonable prices. Small charge for chips and salsas (red and green - they were both painfully spicy, at least to our Midwestern palates!). Give it a try if you’re in the neighborhood.
Today was my 1st time visiting here. I got menudo and pastor tacos and the food was DELICIOSO!!! The tacos were so flavorful and adding lime to them just elevated the flavor and the menudo was delicious and surprisingly light yet flavorful! I will definitely be back!!!
Came here with an expectation that there was so much “authenticity” but whoever ate here is not Mexican. Tacos for some reason are served in a tin foil wrap? would’ve made sense if this restaurant was a taco truck. The carne asada is super dry, tortillas are thin, taste and feel store bought. The horchata was definitely made from processed powder instead of the real thing. Don’t even get me started on the nachos. The whole thing looked and tasted like they threw in left overs and reheated it. Maybe there was one dish better than the others but for us, it was the tortilla chips they served as an appetizer.
This is a top place for Mexican food. It’s been around since 1964 as the owner is engaged and pays attention to all details. The best enchiladas, crisp tacos and salsa. Don’t come here for ambience or fast service. It’s approx 3 miles from the airport.
