Middle Eastern Bakery and Deli

The place said middle eastern ,but everyone working was talking spanish.Didnt hear a word of arabic or hebrew.Mexican music blaring from the kitchen.I ordered a pita with falafel.pita - small,the falafel balls were good and the tahini,but not enough .very dry.large chunky slices of tomato and very old gross lettuce that later gave me indigestion,not a nice chopped middle eastern salad.wouldnt return

They have several gluten free options including pitas. My GF friend said they were excellent.

The owner Mr.Isam is the sweetest man, his hospitality is amazing. The lemon chicken breast and the lamb are divine! We cleaned the plates! The pastries are wonderful and the coffee right on point. If you don’t eat there you will highly regret it. Next time we go to Phoenix we will eat there without a doubt!!!

This food tastes exactly like my grandmothers’ recipes. Authentic, fresh, and perfectly seasoned food, every time. Portions are generous and the pita bread is so good it’s often sold out by the afternoon. Good news is you can put an order in the day before and they’ll have it ready for you when you arrive. The kibbe sandwich, gyro, spinach pies and tabouli
salad are my favorites, but everything is delicious! Their desserts are the best! They also have a large selection of frozen and refrigerated items you can take home, including Armenian string cheese, spinach pies, lahmajune and kibbe balls. They also have the usual grocery items you would find in a Middle Eastern market. Absolutely amazing and the owners and staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They get to know you and make you feel like family. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Such amazing and welcome by the ladies each time I visited. Highly recommend the grill platter and other side dishes if you refer more authentic middle eastern food choices.

This place has been here for decades. The family is very welcoming, and the food is fresh and great every time. The prices are affordable. It is one of my top places to eat. The all prepared food is fresh and made there, bread , baklava , tabuli salad. I have doned in and done take out. Since 1995, I have been a patron.

Don't let the old-school building fool you! I had them cater for 2 work events, they were amazing. They take great care of any dietary needs, and threw in a few extras like their baklava when they learned it was for a nonprofit org. Would absolutely work with them in the future.
