First time going and the vegan options were clearly labeled and very good. The eggplant was beautiful, fresh and tasty. Spinach bao was unique and good. The food was worth the wait. They appear short staff but they are really trying. I saw a sign they are trying to hire additional help. The 2 gentleman provided excellent service : Samson, and our amazing waiter whose name I didn’t catch, were very hardworking and very nice. It was just the 2 of them on a busy Saturday night.

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience here during our dinner date on Friday evening (07/11). Despite a promising first impression with the menu, it took the host 10 minutes just to seat us, and the food took another 40 minutes to arrive. When it finally did, it didn’t live up to our expectations. Really hope the team can work on improving both the service and food quality. Wishing you the best going forward.

You MUST check out this place. Johnny Chu's new Asian concept is spot on delicious. For fans of former Red Thai @ 12th St & Northern, you're in for a treat as Johnny is back with delicious offerings that have amazing flavor profiles. You have to try a Mr. Chu spicy martini - amazing. Shrimp tempura and sizzling shrimp were to die for. Service is exceptional. Eat here!

Very slow service. Took almost an hour to get our food. Which was just ok. For the price I'd opt for elsewhere.

We came to Mifan for dinner before going to a show across the street at the Phoemix Theater. It was popping, and the server was very accommodating to our walk-in (no reservation). The kitchen was a little behind but the staff were very friendly and communicative. Would definitely go back. The food was amazing. We shared a number of dishes that all came out great.

Soup dumplings were amazing. Small, but a great appetizer.
Bao tacos were light and airy even with the crispy fried chicken.
And the best part was the HK Typhoon chicken. It came in a sizzling bowl with the sauce and two fried bao on the side. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Crispy but still tender. The aromatics that the chicken was stir fried with were out of this world.
Not one complaint.
Just order a couple sides of rice and you've got the perfect light lunch date.
No photos. Too delicious to stop and take any

Food and service are excellent. Had the dumplings, cauliflower lollipop and black dragon clay pot dish among other items. Everything was tasty, especially the cauliflower lollipop. Definitely would recommend.

Vegan options are clearly labeled and there are a lot of them. Very good fresh vegetables and tofu.
My friend and I visited for lunch and the food was really excellent. I ordered Cantonese Black Dragon with shrimp. The presentation was great…the claypot was a new experience and one worth doing! Lots of shrimp, moist and delicious. My friend ordered House Dynamite with chicken. She enjoyed an excellent meal with plenty to take home for a light dinner. We will be going back and highly recommend this dining experience. The service was also excellent with a personable and attentive waiter!! Well worth the visit!

Such a gem of a place. Hard to find from the street. But food was excellent and super flavorful. Had the soup gyoza and heathy Asian clay pot with chicken. Not a huge meal but perfect for a lunch meal.
