We ate here for my birthday the other night and the food was spectacular! Love the atmosphere and everything about this place. Their salsa is the best I’ve ever had! My family and I will definitely be coming back!
Wonderful food and service! We come here every week for girls night! Highly recommend!❤️
Thank you for always making us feel special. Everyone is so friendly! We are regulars and this is our go to place. Thanks Alberto for the best drinks!
LONG READ‼️‼️‼️ Karus Leonard POST🗣️🗣️ I normally don’t post things like this, but today’s experience left my wife and me feeling disrespected and discriminated against, and I can’t stay silent. On a recommendation from my boss, my wife Shanette and I decided to try Mil Amores for lunch. She ordered a T-bone steak with a baked potato and corn on the cob, and I ordered the fajitas—specifically requesting the pico de gallo on the side because I’m allergic to tomatoes. And also, if my wife sees it, she wants some too. The food comes out, and I immediately see chunks of tomatoes mixed in. I politely told the waitress, “Hey, I’m allergic to tomatoes. That’s why I asked for it on the side.” She said she’d check with the kitchen about getting it remade. But then here’s where it gets out of hand, a man (turns out he was the manager, named Alberto) comes to the table with a menu in hand, talks down to me in a rude and condescending tone, opens the menu, and literally starts pointing and reading out loud like I’m a child: “Next time you need to know what you're ordering…” I calmly told him, “I didn’t look at the full menu. I’ve had fajitas at other restaurants with just bell peppers and onions.”His response? “Next time you need to read!” Then he leans over, gets in my face, and repeats it again—“Next time read”—like he was trying to provoke me. I told him to get out of my face and bring me the check. He says, “We’ll remake it.” So I ask, “Then why are you still standing in my face?”He claims, “You should’ve told someone you’re allergic.” I replied, “I did. That’s why I asked for the pico on the side.” He then said, “Pico and tomato are not the same.” I literally pointed at the tomato pieces and said, “Are these not tomatoes?” He argued again and continued in a tone and posture that was clearly trying to bait me into reacting. Even the waitress and the host apologized on the way out because they knew he was out of line. Let me be clear:I wasn’t trying to get over.I didn’t ask for a discount.I just wanted to be safe and treated with respect. Instead, I was treated like a criminal or a scammer simply because I’m Black. The way Alberto spoke to me, his assumption that I couldn’t read or afford my meal, and the dismissive attitude—it was racist, condescending, and completely unacceptable. This is EXACTLY why some businesses don’t last. People want good food, yes—but they also want to be treated with basic decency. Food: 3/10 Service: 1/10 Experience: Absolutely Disrespectful I do not recommend Mil Amores in Sterlington, and I will be sharing this experience across all platforms until the owners address it properly. #OurMoneyMatters #RespectIsFreeDiscriminationCost #DonePissedPastorOff @highlight #fypシ
I understand food prices are crazy but charging for 12$ for just a burrito is nuts. I can see why there are no customers. Maybe work on the prices. If you want to eat good Mexican food try to taco truck on roeser and 16th St and better prices and quality food.

best place hands down! we love the people and food! we are regulars at this point!
We had the best meal and excellent service! We were promptly seated and served immediately. One of our choices was the Pollo Cameron Tapatio, grilled chicken breast marinated in special pineapple sauce with avocado salad and rice. The other dish was Tacos El Pastor, corn tortillas with pork braised in a clay pot topped with grilled pineapple and pico de gallo. Both meals were delicious. Highly recommend!! Also reasonably priced.
Not many places you can find authentic & fresh & beautiful ceviche in Monroe… Milamoressteaks hits it out of the park for me, every-time!
Amazing food. Better bring your appetite.
We ordered the Tomahawk steak as a birthday dinner. It was fantastic. The two of us could only eat a little less than half, so leftovers tomorrow!
