Such a wonderful restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious and fresh, and the service was warm and attentive. I went with my baby and was so happy to see how kid-friendly the place is — they made us feel very comfortable. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect to start the day.

The food was about as good as you can hope for from a chain — decent, predictable, and edible. The service, however, was a different story. The hostess radiated either “I’d rather be anywhere else” or “I’ve made peace with hating life,” I’m still not sure which. Our server did keep the drinks filled and the food coming promptly, but when asked about menu items, “I don’t know” is not exactly the gold standard of customer care — especially when dietary restrictions are involved. Bonus points for then looking irritated that the customer dared to care about what they eat.

So many good things offered on Mimi's menu. I'll need to return many times to sample all the things I wanted to try. For breakfast I had the short ribs with hollandaise sauce and poached eggs. Mega Yum. My wife had Pain Perdu With Mixed Berries. The friendly service was as good as the food.
