Mission BBQ is a very unique type of restaurant. Not anything I’ve seen before. The moment you pull into the parking lot the closest spot to the restaurant is labeled veteran parking. When you walk inside, there are pictures all over the wall walls of decorated soldiers/officers. The staff serving you food are wearing camouflage hats which reminded me of hunters. I thought it was very unique how they have a variety of 6 different sauces to put on your meat for added flavor. I ended up getting the lean brisket vs the one that’s higher concentration in fat. Their side dishes sound delicious, but clearly not many healthy options. I ended up getting a side dish of salad which ended up just being a small portion of iceberg lettuce, that’s 90% water virtually minimal nutritional value. The meal came with 2 sides. A small salad with a small quantity of sliced tomatoes with shaved carrots and a small portion of dressing. It also included a small single portion of cornbread, which was also flavorless. In all honesty, I found the brisket to be tasteless as well. There was virtually zero seasoning so you’re required to use the sauces on the table to appreciate the way the food should have tasted. The meal also includes a medium size soft drink cup, and a whopping price of $22.03 after taxes. I think it’s safe to say I will definitely not be coming back here again.

Excellent service, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere inside was great, warm, and inviting. All the sides were incredibly delicious. The meats were very good — I’m a bit of a harsh critic since I smoke my own barbecue at home, but this was good for a restaurant. Definitely a place I’d come back to again!

Ordered the meat sampler to try the brisket and chicken. Chicken was a bit dry, but enjoyed the brisket. Great range of sauces too

The beef barbecue is good. The turkey was not very good in the salmon. I gotta be honest was absolutely disappointing. I didn’t even eat it.

We’ve been coming to the Mission BBQ in Paradise Valley since the day it opened, and it’s hands down one of the best restaurants around. The customer service is truly unmatched — there have been times we accidentally left part of our order behind, and they’ve called us before we even left the parking lot to make sure we had everything. I’ve never experienced a team that goes so far above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy.
The food is consistently high quality and absolutely delicious every single time. You can tell they care about what they do and take pride in every meal they serve.
If you’re craving amazing BBQ and genuine hospitality, this is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed!

I just had some of the best barbecue chicken I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot mission BBQXXL barbecued wings are awesome!
Anyone who’s tried that knows that smoking chicken is completely different than beef for pork and whoever is smoking chicken and those chicken wings is killing it!
The brisket is excellent. The pulled pork is great.
