Tried this place out for the 1st time during happy hour. Food was delivered quick but was horrible, that’s what happens when food quality is bad. Carne asada was so tuff to chew it was like chewing gum, chips are paper mache, nachos are weak, shredded chicken and carnitas tacos no flavor, they fell apart so easily. Definitely not concerned about food quality. Only thing that was descent was the margarita. Will not be back.

Tried to check it out for cinco de Mayo but the service was so slow and they ran out of food at 8:30pm!! Not even chips and salsa. Really Disappointing

Had high hopes but unfortunately was let down. First initial order of drinks and a quesadilla didn’t take long and was pleased with the outcome. However, one person had to ask for a tea twice over the course of 45 minutes before getting it as well as silverware. (Apparently the whole restaurant was out of silverware) Additional margarita orders took over 45 minutes before getting them. Every food order had something wrong with it. Carne asada tacos were unfortunately the most bland tacos I’ve ever had, which contained what to be unseasoned steak, dry cabbage, and a small slice of avocado with no sauces. Tacos were completely missing a side, asked for them and never came, and the nachos were missing jalapeños after asking for them. Waters were never refilled and dirty/empty dishes were never taken from the table. And with no responsibility to the restaurant but the icing on the cake, 8 children were running rampant with little parental corrections while they were throwing balled up napkins and screaming. Don’t order the frozen margarita as that one took 50 mins, yes we timed it.

Waitress was an absolute disgrace. We did nothing wrong we just got there and she treated us like we were nobodies and that we had the attitude when it was her that needed an attitude check. Wish I knew her name but unfortunately she was so bad at her job she didn’t tell us. Will not return

Modern Margarita definitely has a good spin on Mexican food! Was craving tacos for lunch & wanted to try something new, our server Aaron seemed very familiar with the menu & gave amazing suggestions!
We had the Elote Dip to start which was light & delicious then the tacos in order from favorite to least favorite would be Miso Carne, Nashville Hot Chicken, & the Korean Beef (but all were super good & just the right amount of flavor).. even the most simple things like the side of rice was tasty!
We sat outside because it was a nice day out, but there’s also plenty of TVs if you’re trying to catch a game & grab some good food! Definitely plan on coming back soon..

We sat at the bar on January 4th at 3:30. It was not busy at all. My wife ordered a Dos Equis and I ordered a marquarita. Bartender said the beer is out and he doesn't have time to change the keg. He also said he is our of limes and doesn't have time to cut more. Never apologized and had an attitude. We left after one drink when we thought we would eat there. We went next door to Hulas where they had plenty of limes and we very pleasant. Horrible experience and we will not be back.
Wonderful spot!! Brought 16 people for an impromptu night and this group could not have been more professional, kind, and capable. We loved all our drinks and meals. Thank you!!

Saturday happy hour starts at 3pm with good discounts. The carne asada was tough and fatty, but the gringo tacos were much better. Frozen margaritas were good too. Sunday bloody Mary good and all football games.
