Great food but the young guy that helped us with drinks was very rude , he was almost throwing our drinks and vey poor attitude and apparent looked dirty come to fine out his the managers son wow

Just can't find a cafe better than this! Their wait staff is superb, prices reasonable, and they always make you feel like family! It's like coming home for breakfast!! Some of the best food in the valley and smiles galore!!

I wish I could rate 5 stars because the food and prices are good and staff is usually friendly. But every time I’ve come they don’t have anyone working the register and it takes forever for an employee to decide to help out and ring people up. Please put an employee at the register and make them stay there the whole time as their only job. This place is always busy so there are always people waiting to pay. It feels like the employees avoid helping people at the register, they look and see people waiting but they just keep walking. Today I was waiting to pay standing behind a man and we stood there for a good while, I saw at least 2 employees look at us and ignore us. Then 3 more people stood in line, it’s a small place so we were all blocking the walkways. Finally one of the employees who ignored us earlier decided to come help, but another girl jumped in instead. As she was helping the first man pay, she started taking the tickets of the people who came up after me, I had to jump in and tell her I was first, she wasn’t even paying attention to who was in line. Good food, bad wait service.
Update 12/22/25: I ordered pickup for Chorizo and Eggs, got home and saw there’s no eggs.. make sure you check your pickup orders before you leave. Also the woman standing at the pickup area was too lazy to wait on me, the girl at the register across the room had to yell to her to give me my order.

I ordered my food at 7:30 am for pickup at 8:00 am, got there at 8 and left there at 8:20. One of my coworkers ordered eggs Benedict and there was no sauce on th eggs. I have ordered for pick up twice and both time I had to wait. My biggest complaint is that they add an automatic 20% tip and you can't remove it. Because of tip, I will not return. Pay your workers and price accordingly. Tipping for a carry out order is ridiculous. Tipping was started for servers that made below minimum wage. I have always tipped generously when the service was good. The food was good/average, typical breakfast.

Great place great ppl

Amazing food and great prices. My son had a beautiful ribeye steak and eggs with hash browns for $17.00. Pancakes are really good and fluffy as well.

Moon Valley Café is fantastic! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous. The service is amazing, friendly, fast, and makes you feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot for a great breakfast or brunch!

Food was ok but my concern was what the workers did. If I was a secret shopper this establishment would have failed.

The worker was making a drink for a customer and I guess he out too much ice in a glass and then scooped the ice out of the customers glass with his bare hands and continued to make the drink with his dirty hands. Very unsanitary. Then the server poured the coffee in the coffee glass and I guess she poured too much and poured it back in the main coffee pot in our faces. A server came out of bathroom after being in there for a long period of time and did NOT wash her hands.

I’m disappointed and disgusted at the same time. I can only imagine what goes on in the back with our food preparation or if they drop something on the floor or on an unclean area they still will serve it to you. I really liked this place until I saw unclean practices.

We’ve been here a few times. The food is always amazing and the prices are great. I love the breakfast quesadilla so much and you really can’t beat a Bloody Mary for less than $4. The patio is really nice too. Service can be hit or miss but it’s always busy so I understand that. We will continue to come back for more!

This place is busy! The vibe is “ diner” . I have wanted to go for a while and I was in the neighborhood.
I ordered an open face sandwich I’d been craving, to go. Got it home for lunch. It was ok. The meat was a pre sliced / packed version with not much flavor.Sadly, the gravy was lacking flavor as well. The mashed potatoes were ok but one big lump spoiled it for me. If I’d eaten in maybe it would have been better.
