We had such a great morning at Morning Glory Café at The Farm. The setting is peaceful, with lots of outdoor seating surrounded by trees and open space for kids to explore. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast and relax without feeling rushed.

We ordered the Brisket Burrito, Bacon Burrito, and the Noble Bread Brisket & Egg Sandwich — all were fresh, flavorful, and well made. Everything tasted like it came straight from the farm, and the portions were generous.

It’s an ideal spot for families — great food, friendly service, and plenty of room for little ones to wander safely. We’ll definitely be back.

We visited after a hike. Refreshing drinks among other things hit the spot. The place is little on the tiny side for us but otherwise a good experience. The wait server allowed us to snap a pic of our large drink order request. I would visit again.

I ordered an orange juice and the red chilaquiles. Sad to say they were bland. No flavor, they needed more sazón. Definitely not worth $30+

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Arrogant and careless.
PS:
Tons of flys.
No cold mist outside. No fans. ONLY outside tables in 113F.

Enjoy!

Love this place! I had a large drip coffee and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Simple but tasty. Pleasant counter person. He was helpful with the menu and suggestions. Great atmosphere, we will be back.

This is expensive cause it is fresh and made with great ingredients, but it was delicious!! The line was long.. so that was not fun. But I was able to order and get my blue cornbread muffin righr away. Yummy. If you are visiting the Farm, save up to enjoy the food!!

Very cute and peaceful premises. Order at counter and they'll text you when ready. Food was delicious, but pricey. Close to airport, which is why we dropped in. Patrons were doing outdoor yoga when we arrived. There are shops, farm animals, and pretty flowers.

Let’s start with the location which is beautiful. It is a farm to table concept so pretty cool! There is so much things to see on the way to the coffee- we were surprised considering I picked this place kind of last minute. It is open space and super pet friendly. Also there is lots of space to sit! After you had your meal, you can go and watch chickens, turkeys and goose! They also have a mulberry tree right next to the restrooms. Never saw one here in Phoenix! Super cool! However, we paid around $70 for breakfast with no service. Unfortunately, the special chilaquiles were the worst I have had so far. They were soggy, too spicy, little to no sour cream and cheese. I recommend coming early in the morning to skip the crowd. Parking is limited so again come in early. The parking lot is a dirt road - lots of potholes.

This was my second visit to The Farm at South Mountain.

The first time, we visited in late October and had lunch at the Farm Kitchen. We ordered the Tuscan and the Pecan Chicken Salad sandwiches which were good but too light on protein and overpriced.

We visited again in late December and had breakfast at the Morning Glory. I had the Smoked Brisket Tacos and the Brioche French Toast. Others in our group had the Farm Monte Cristo and the Farm Breakfast Burrito. The food was good but nothing to write home about and overpriced for the portions we were served.

During both visits, we took our time enjoying our meals and then strolled through the grounds, while chatting and admiring the flower and vegetable gardens. In October, the pecan trees still had all their leaves so there was a lot of greenery and shade. In December, the grounds were littered with pecans and we cracked open a couple - yum! There are signs all over asking us not pick the fruit from the trees, but these were on the ground already so we figured there was no harm in it. 😉

We also stopped by the farm animals' area and enjoyed watching the pretty hens, and ducks. In December, there was also a large fluffy turkey that somehow made it past Thanksgiving! It goes without saying that our friends would be much happier with more living space - poor creatures!

We also went window-shopping at the onsite gift shop which is packed with cute, creative but overpriced items (as is the nature of anything in a gift shop). You can still look, though!

So why do we keep coming back? Because we enjoy all the greenery in the middle of this desert! The grounds are lovely and the experience is different each time (although I would definitely stay away during the long hot summers). I'd say we spent between 3.5 to 4 hours each visit and will be back for more before the real heat starts up again!
