I visited on Sunday 7/20 about 9am. Sat at the counter Sahara approached immediately and was personable and informative about the menu ( I only knew her name because I asked when I was leaving....as she never gave it when greeting me...which I found a little odd (I'm in the hospitality business 43 years) My breakfast arrived in about 7 minutes which I thought was great everything looked beautiful. When I had just started to eat I had to use the bathroom....I was gone 2 or 3 minutes and came back and all my breakfast plates and coffee were GONE. Obviously to a sensible person I was far from being done eating. Is it MY responsibility to inform the server when I'm visiting the bathroom???. So I had to point out to Sahara what happened and she (half heartedly) apologized (almost as if she's holding me accountable for what happened....or that was my impression) She immediately got another breakfast started. While I was waiting for the new breakfast I sat there several minutes waiting to see if she would at least bring me a new coffee while I was waiting for the new breakfast.....finally I had to ASK for a cup of coffee..which I found a little odd.....she wasnt that busy..it's the little things that separate good from GREAT service. and when you start having to ASK for things....it's not great service.....great service is ANTICIPATING needs....well the new breakfast came in about 7 min and everything was great.....she never checked back on me (in light of what had happened I expected a checkback in 2-3 min....she didn't really inquire how everything was until I had to ASK for a refill on my coffee....once again I'm asking for things ....so overall good visit just a few moderately disappointing glitches

We each ordered quiche which was bone dry and burnt.

What a breakfast gem! So close to the sports area and bustling downtown, the portion you get is WELL worth the price. We like to eat, and we still had a second meal. The strawberry OJ is delicious, and for the coffee lovers, the café au lait is smooth and creamy.

This is a small brunch place in downtown Phoenix. The food was hot and fresh when it came out, and the portions were substantial. One omelette was definitely enough for two people.

We had such a lovely brunch at Morning Squeeze! The food was delicious with generous portions, and the staff made us feel really welcome. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a solid brunch experience.

It's always fun trying new places and this one had great reviews but we were kind of disappointed. The barbacoa Benedict tasted more like a sloppy Joe. The butter cake french toast tasted more like cornbread and was super duper sweet. The BLT and steak Benedicts were yummy. Everything looked pretty, but overall probably won't be back.

Good food and great service by Sahara! Recommend the Cali Eggs Benedict for a somewhat healthy option!

Hope the entire establishment feels ashamed for accepting my 30% tip. I was greeted poorly. My waitress, after looking at me, asked if I was going to be drinking anything other than complimentary water she brought to the table ... obviously, I must have looked like a bum to them ... because the next solo person that came into the location was greeted differently and was offered coffee, fresh squeezed juice, etc. The food was good and the atmosphere was clean and could have been pleasantly, but with so many choices in the area ... I won't be back. Even when I left, no one spoke an offered of thanks or goodbye.
You can do better, and I hope anyone who values simple everyday common courtesies skips this place and supports the other establishments within the area.

Had breakfast here and loved how friendly and accommodating all the employees were.
Freshness of all the ingredients of the foods and drinks, and available variety of alternate diet substitutions will keep me regularly coming back.

We had a very tasty breakfast here. The service was friendly. My glass had a significant number of small particles caked onto it suggesting that the dishwasher filter had not been cleaned which we brought to the server's attention.

I had a mostly awesome experience here today. The staff was super lovely and sweet so I want to give them a shoutout there! The food was good, a little expensive but good. I did unfortunately sit on gum so that was not pleasant. If I come back I will make sure there’s no gum on my seat. Special shoutout to my server and hostess who were very kind.

If you come here hungry, you’re definitely leaving full, but even if you're not starving, there’s a ton of stuff to try. The food’s really good and you get loads of it. The service is awesome too. This place is a must-hit whenever you're out for lunch!
