We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and Motomoto has an entrance there. We wandered in and was blown away, we went both nights we were there. The Pork Belly Bao, Chicken Karaage, Pork Belly Skewers and Pork Katsu Curry complete with a Tokai Margarita were an AWESOME experience!!!! 👍🏼👍🏼 Can’t wait for their opening in Tempe. Wish they were coming to Gilbert or Chandler. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

MOTOMOTO Sushi & Izakaya offers a wonderful dining experience. The bartender is exceptional, and the spicy edamame is a must-try. The tempura salmon roll is also a highlight. The restaurant offers adult beverages, but not a full bar. Located downtown, it's accessible with an easy entrance. While parking can be a challenge, the ambiance is inviting and "bar like", making it a great spot for a night out.
The food is incredible. Customers have enjoyed the karaage, grilled eel, and tempura salmon roll, all of which were excellent. The karaage tasted just like it did at a local shop in Japan. The service is also excellent. The sushi rolls are large, with a perfect proportion of rice to fish and vegetables.
Sitting in the restaurant, customers feel transported to true Japan, with the clear and precise way the chefs make the sushi and the menu. The decor, including the upside-down paper umbrellas and the cherry blossom arch, is very Instagrammable. While some customers wish the restaurant had a happy hour, they still enjoy the high-quality food and the authentic Izakaya atmosphere.
