What a unique coffee shop! I had a coffee with orange and cardamom in it, and what a unique flavor pairing it was. The excellent hot coffee had a perfect heart-shaped foam top. My aunt had a cold coffee with banana, and it was extremely good. This coffee shop has a great atmosphere inside, with low to moderate noise, perfect for enjoying a conversation or getting some work done. We initially tried to sit outside, but it was difficult to have a conversation due to the loud traffic, so we moved inside. They're working on building a bakery, but in the meantime, they do get fresh pastries, though they run out early. I recommend anyone who enjoys coffee, tea, or matcha to come in here and have a uniquely crafted beverage.

We went there on Saturday at the perfect timing; there was only one person in the line. The staff at the cashier was welcoming and answered our questions since it was our first time. We ordered 2 iced coffee and 2 different pastries. It took about 10-15ish minutes to get our coffees. It could be a little long to some, but we weren’t in a rush and wanted to try out a new place that just won the global award. Both coffees were great. It’s amazing how banana and coffee can blended really well without overpowering each other. It was smooth with a hint of sweetness from banana. 🍌 I wouldn’t be able to imagine how banana and coffee could be together yet still tastes so good! Their dark chocolate was also high quality and tasted exactly how it’s supposed to be in coffee. // The 2 pastries we ordered were ham & cheese bun, and banana loaf with dates (I can’t remember their names exactly). They were amazingly delicious. I wish I could have them every day, especially the banana loaf! Love the coconut flakes on top, adding more texture and nutty flavor to the pastry. My 3 y/o enjoyed every bite of it (he actually asked for more too, but unfortunately the line was too long by that time. Lol) — Can’t wait to be back! Wish there was a location in Tempe. My husband would be there every day. 🙌🏻

Highly recommend this coffee shop. Very well deserved the global award. Congratulations!!!🎉 ☕️

The coffee is indeed different, very complex and intriguing flavor. The miso pecan cookie was also good, a little too sweet for us. Dissapointed that the bakery was under renovation (?) when we came for the first time. We liked the products they offer just not the vibe, music was a little too loud and crowded.

I would never come here on a weekend because it’s jam packed with indecisive young millenials/old Zs and the counter takes a long time to get a drink out but their consistently good espresso keeps me coming back. Staff are actually fairly attentive and kind of you engage. Pastries are great obviously due to where they source them.

The employees were great and kind. The coffee was pretty good. Definitely a speciality coffee shop. Enjoyed the pour over cup that I had. This is a great shop to swing by and drink coffee. You can park in the parking garage then walk to the shop. They have some pretty cool shirts that they are selling. They even are selling their own beans. It’s a great place.

I hate to leave a one star review but it was just such a bad experience I’m left with no other options. I love to visit coffee shops when I travel and bring home a bag of espresso coffee to enjoy when I’m back home. I visited and the line was very slow. When I got to the front I asked about the bags of espresso and was told they’re out but she charged me for a bag so I went and grabbed a bag they had on the shelf since I was charged for it. It took awhile to get my drink and when I got my latte from the first sip I knew I would not be able to finish it.

Today I used their beans for a latte and the weird acid after taste is too much to handle. Don’t be fooled by the way this place looks. This place if terrible and the coffee I’m afraid is going to make me sick.

All the baristas that I’ve met at moxie are all very friendly and welcoming ! The shop itself has a bunch of beautiful plants throughout which I absolutely love , the pastries are delicious , the coffee is always amazing every single time , there’s a variety of beans you can choose from if you’re looking to brew at home , and the shops cafe is very inviting overall ! Even in the times where it has been busier the baristas are focused , but they are still giving the best experience possible . I know anytime I go to moxie the drink will be consistently great and so will the service . My friend and I also did the tour and tasting . It was really nice to learn more about the process they go through ! Matt is really kind and you can tell how much he cares about what he does ! We both learned so much from him during the tour and tasting .

Solid place! I’ve not tried any food yet, I’m also not a huge fan of specialty drinks so when I went I just wanted to try their cold brew. It’s refreshing and got that mild bitterness I love pair that with some of their Madagascar vanilla, amazing! I also went in a few times where there was a grip of people either working or hanging out.

I attended a tour of Moxie’s new roastery downtown. Matt of Moxie showed some slides of his personal journey becoming a roaster He also presented about the relationships established with coffee producers and the different means of processing coffee. We were able to sample some of their award winning beans and experienced a roasting on their new roaster while we were present. I enjoyed the experience and learned a great deal. I highly recommend their coffee both their beans and the cafe.

The americano was okay, but the ham and cheese roll was phenomenal. I’ve been thinking about it for the last 6 hours 🤣 everyone was really friendly, too. I’d go back for sure.
