My fiancé and I have a slight obsession with trying to find the best coffee wherever we are living/visiting. And currently we have been living in the valley for four years. At this point in time, Moxie is our champion. Not only do they make very impressive specialty drinks but even their classic coffee, espresso and latte drinks are always amazing. One thing that we think really sets Moxie apart is their consistency. Their drinks never disappoint. Unlike many other shops where you might get a really good drink one day and then the next day it is much lower quality. On top of all that, their staff is incredibly kind, and cool. They help set the really chill but modern vibe in the shop that makes it a great place to chat with a friend or get work done. And one of my favorite things about Moxie is that if you have your coffee in shop, they will always serve your drink in one of their beautiful mugs or glasses. Most coffee shops tend to serve their drinks in disposable cups whether you're staying or going and I think it really ruins the experience. Moxie seems to really pay attention to the finer details:) Oh and one more thing! Their pastries are insane and they warm them up the perfect amount before they serve them to you! Moxie is 10/10 and over the years they've really gained my loyalty and my recommendation to anyone visiting or living in the valley:)

Always on the hunt for a great latte. Been in every coffee shop in Phoenix a gazillion times. A few are very good, many good, some okay & others disappointing. TODAY, I had the MOST excellent chai latte imaginable at Moxies. True perfection! Whoever made that this morning, a huge thanks! An unforgettable cup = I'll be back!

Probably the best cold brew and matcha I have ever had. I've had it multiple times and it always comes out just right

Good coffee, but deducted 2 stars due to it being a cashless establishment.

First time trying Moxie and it was great. The atmosphere is relaxing and the employees were very welcoming. I ordered a pour over and it was delicious. They also brought the coffee right to my seat. Great experience overall!

Checked out Moxie Coffee based on the reviews plus it was next door to where I was. I ordered a hot caramel latte with oat milk. The cashier was nice and made nice convo. It took a bit of time to make my drink however I wasn't in a hurry. The presentation of the my drink was 10/10. I'd rate the coffee 8/10 just because I could taste more of the milk than the coffee. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Regardless, the place was clean. This seems to be a spot to hang out and do work. Parking can be limited however there's a basement below with more parking.

You found it - the best cup in Phoenix. I stayed here a week and had coffee somewhere different every day. Day 7 and I finally found real coffee prepared by folks who clearly love coffee and respect the craft. We ordered pour over, drip, and, and espresso drinks. My aussie friends thought there was a bit of bitterness in the espresso, but the drip was excellent and the pour over one of the best cups Ive ever had.

I like the coffee and vibes, however, I waited 35 minutes for a single latte this morning. It wasn’t busy, there was no line, no idea why it would have taken this long. It’s discouraging to want to come back when waiting to get a grab and go coffee takes almost an

We stayed in Tempe for spring training and Moxie was close to our hotel! When we travel we always like trying new coffee shops and this one was pretty good. First of all the place is huge, has lots of seating area with under the table chargers! Did I say chargers? Maybe because we're from LA this a big deal where we have tiny coffee shops and no chargers . Anyways, there is a section where they have their own merch and roasted coffee. They roast their coffee in house, we definitely made sure to take some home and let me tell you it tastes as good as it smells, so good! We grabbed a drink called the Euphoria(might be euphoric). I believe this is a seasonal drink here. It is a latte flavored with rose water and cardamom. A cool thing they do here is they give you the option of choosing between matcha and espresso shots. I went with espresso because that's my personal favorite. The drink itself was pretty good, unlike anything I have ever tasted, my boyfriend came to get the same thing the next day. We also got the NOLA. Although it was ok...I don't think it had enough of the chicory root flavor that I like. I felt that rather than infusing the chicory in the coffee itself, they used a chicory infused syrup. Not bad but not the best NOLA I've had. We also tried the ham and cheese croissant and it was ok, very buttery (which was good ) but the ham and cheese were a little too dry. My personal favorite was their fruit and cream cheese danish. Mine had grapefruit slices, not only did that look aesthetically pleasing but it tasted amazing! The prices are a bit on the pricier side but you're paying for the quality. This is good coffee and it is worth the buck! The service was good. My only gripe was that there is only one cashier which when it gets busy can be a little frustrating for some. However, one of the days we had a coffee snob in front of us talking to the cashier for a WHILE and all we wanted to do is purchase coffee beans. I'm sure the cashier didn't want to be rude and rush the customer and it looked like they were also enjoying the conversation, but we were definitely getting impatient. This is where another cashier may help out! Other than that the baristas and employees in general are pretty nice!

Best cup of coffee we had in Scottsdale! They have tons of seating, a wide (but trustworthy) array of drinks, a walk up window and really sweet merch. As coffee snobs, we loved jumping by for a cup of coffee on their porch. Good amount of parking designated in the garage. You can tell this is where all the freelancers are hanging out haha. Their Ethiopian roast was so good and love that they offer mugs for "here" as well as a free refill on drip. Staff was so kind and made the whole time really sweet. We will be back!

The coffee is great! But let’s talk about the Baker! Just blown away by the attention to detail and consideration for flavor and texture. They really take my cup of coffee to the next level. How breakfast could really be. Thanks!
