Just finished our dinner and had to jump right on and give them a 5 star review. Not only was the food amazing but the service was too. We will definitely be back!
Food was amazing!!!! And Fresh. My family and I will be returning customers. ❤️
Super awesome place. Went with my girlfriend on a day where there was no staff but the husband and wife (owners). Food came out really quickly between the two of them. The wife was super kind and paid a lot of attention to the tables/guests. GREAT local "ma and pa" shop
Although they've switched ownership, the classics remain! Ordered beef with peppers & fried rice, with a side of BBQ & hot mustard. Everything was expertly prepared, and the mustard is a 9/10 on the eyewater meter! Personal preference, beef was a little on the fatty side, other than that, repeat customer for sure.
Top of the line food. Always a home run if you like quality Chinese food.
Very awesome food!! Great Chef! And nice friendly owner and staff! Thanks
Saw this place on a Facebook post and figured I would try it out. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice. I will be telling all my friends about this hidden gem.
Food was delicious! We ordered tangerine beef and green bean chicken, food came out steaming hot, and right portion size. Service was great as well. We will definitely be back.
Amazing!!! We will most definitely recommend this restaurant to all our friends! Everyone is so friendly and the food and service were phenomenal.
Elizabeth was personable and warm to all of us. Crab puffs are highly recommended!

First time customer, recent transplant to AZ from the east coast. Ordered takeout here on a Friday night, so was fully prepared for the 45 min wait-time and that wasn't a problem for us. Staff was warm and friendly and the place was clean. The food was truly fresh and delicious, I'd say quite a noticeable step above your typical Chinese takeout. My only pain point was that the portions were small compared to the hefty price tag. None of the containers (save for the rice) were completely filled; the contents barely touched the lid. Spicy garlic eggplant with tofu is my favorite dish and isn't a standard on many takeout menus, so I was excited to find it, but I feel like $17+ is a little steep for the quantity provided. (Really, it was the $3.50 fee to add a few chunks of tofu that felt like a bit too much to me.) Still, the quality of the food was undeniable and we enjoyed each dish (Szechwan string beans were delightfully robust in flavor, huge chunks of high-quality chicken in my partner's sesame chicken dish, etc.), so I will likely keep Mr. Chao's handy for those nights where we feel like really splurging on our takeout.
Enjoyed the food so much. The crab puffs were out of this world! The owners are very warm and welcoming. Great, relaxing atmosphere.
We visited with friends who really liked the previous owner. So we're comparing it to those days. Service was very friendly, but slow - although we were warned by a sign on the door that service would be slow. For most of the meal, we were the only ones there, but it was Christmas day. Egg rolls were delicious, soup was very good. My Happy Family meats were perfect, but vegetables were overcooked. I asked that they add some bok choy and they did. Sesame chicken was very good. Our requests for extra sauce, etc. were met with a smile (we think -they were masked, of course) and promptly. We've had better, but also a lot worse. Prices are a wee bit above average. We sat in a booth - they also have smaller tables for two, a bar (but no alcohol) and a large table with a lazy susan in the center.
