I travel a lot and I am from the south, New Orleans to be exact. I love fried chicken and I also love hot style chicken. For this place only being open 3 days they are on point. Great food, great service. I will definitely be back again when I'm in my hot chicken mood. If you want some good southern style chicken visit this place. Thank you for the pie

Came here on a chill Saturday afternoon around 5:30pm and was shocked to find a lull in the busyness of the place. None the less I ordered the 1/2 Byrd 1/4 mild and the other 1/4 medium, with fries and the mustard slaw. After about 15 mins my food was presented to me Hot and fresh. I was very pleased with the portions provided. The food was delicious. Theres definitely a difference in mild and medium, but nothing too overbearing. The medium is just right to enjoy the heat and spice and not have it over power the meal. The mustard slaw was a new try for me and it wasn't bad at all. Definitely different than any slaw im used to or have had before but I was surprisingly pleased.
My only 2 get betters that made me give 4 stars for the food instead of 5, are: the chicken was fried hard and the slaw could've been a little more creamer. I understand a lot of people like thier chicken fried hard but its not my thing and the slaw needs something to make it a little more wet.
However, the hidden gem is the ranch sauce. Now listen I'm not a ranch kinda guy, but it provided the perfect balance to and enhanced the flavor and spiciness of the Byrd!
I'll be back to try the sandwich and the tenders as I heard they are some of the best in the city!

George Frashers Mrs. Chicken his version of Nashville Hot Chicken. This new concept is sweeping the nation like a storm. So my crew and I made the drive to sample this new firebrand of Chicken. Here is what we found. The place was packed. Standing room only. Everything cooked to order so be prepared to wait a bit. (Not that long). The fare was true to Frashers other venues It was Fantastic. George has done it again. Check out the Red Beans & Rice, a meal to itself. Like Collard Greens, you'll love these. True southern style. I admit I was skeptical but I became a believer. Don't take my word check it out for yourself. Congratulations George on another winner. As an aside check out the Mrs. Chicken hot sign.

If you have never tried this place, you need to go in and try the chicken, good food and cooked when ordered, different types of spicy chicken, very good.
I have had a lot of fried spicy chicken sandwiches, and this is now in my top 5. It was fantastic.. medium spice had a good kick but not overly hot. Fries were on point.. it was a fantastic sandwich and I would highly recommend.

Great spot for chicken! I always get the sandwich and it’s bomb. Already my second time here. Staff is great and efficient. 10/10 would recommend…. NEW EDIT: That’s what I said 2 years ago, sadly not the case anymore. The chicken wasn’t crispy and about HALF the size it used to be and there was no seasoning visible, sad amount of slaw and at $18.55 per sandwich I just can’t justify it. Please bring back the OG portions and crispness! Y’all were soo freaking good, I’m truly sad and this broke my heart
