The best Cantonese style dishes in town. We have been going there average once a month in the past 10 years. The taste/food is consistent, the portions are big, and the prices are reasonable.

This WAS our favorite Chinese Restaurant. Today, food was ok, but not outstanding. The customer service was HORRID. Ordered two lunch specials to go. 30 minutes later, still waiting. Meanwhile, saw other customers entering, being seated and their entree's served, while STILL waiting for our order. Again, our order was two lunch specials....no special requests. While waiting, a man arrived to pick up his order of Hot/Sour Soup. Female employee YELLED at him, saying he ordered War Wonton Soup instead. She repeatedly yelled at him that he ordered War Wonton Soup and she had confirmed this when she took his phone order. He kept apologizing and saying that he did not know what War Wonton Soup was. She continued to berate him, saying that she confirmed on the phone that he wanted War Wonton Soup. He kept saying he ordered Hour/Sour Soup and she continued yelling that he ordered War Wonton Soup. Finally, she left and went to the kitchen. 10 minutes later she returned with Hot/Sour Soup for him. No apology. I finally stood at the order desk and could see a to go order sitting on the service line. Male employee came to the desk and asked what I wanted to order. AGAIN, I have been sitting 10 feet from the desk for 30 minutes and had seen him repeatedly go to the desk while I waited. I asked if the order on the service line was mine and he brought it to the desk. He handed him the food, looked down and walked away. We will NEVER be returning to Nee House.

We have been coming here for many years. It's Not what it used to be. We were here 4 months ago. Something changed. Place was empty at 12:30 lunch on a Sunday... We ordered hot tea, chow fun, black mushrooms with bok choy, salt/pepper pork chops. Food.... Brought out house fried rice; we ordered House chow fun. They did rectify quickly. Food was bland. And amount served was lesser than what it used to be. Salt and pepper pork chops tasted like old meat.. My friend and I were still eating. The rude waitress came by and without any word, placed the bill, 2 fortune cookies, a plastic bag, a couple containers - and left. Did she want us to leave ?? She went back to the bar area and sat down- back on her cell phone. Maybe on TikTok or FB ‍ I miss the old Nee House... sad. I'm not coming back here..

4 words, Salt & Pepper Porkchops. Ok and maybe the house special pan fried noodles, yes that's what I get weekly here, sometimes I'm here twice a week, support a privately owned Chinese restaurant, I haven't been bold enough to order the crab or lobster but when I have visitors I'll go for it. 5 stars, had an amazing Chinese new years here, if you find a better Chinese place let me know, my go to spot for now!

The best and most delicious Cantonese style Chinese food in Arizona. The ingredients are so fresh, the variety is plenty, and the portions are big. I'm from Hong Kong, and I'm very picky about the seafood and Chinese food I eat. Nee House delivers outstanding quality every single time, and I've been going there for more than a decade. The quality remains excellent! Just celebrated Chinese Luna New Year there today with my Dad. We ordered an entire 4-lb crab (live from the fish tank), snow pea leaves, Mongolian beef, wanton soup, Singaporean noodles, and tofu with dried scallop (my favorite), and we enjoyed every single bite of the food!

Nee House is a pleasant surprise in Phoenix. We stumbled upon this place last year during our annual "escape the Buffalo winter" sojourn and are happy that we did. The place itself is in a small strip mall and seems to be your typical family-run Chinese food restaurant, with tables of supplies and take-out cartons at the back of the dining room. However, the food here is a notch above most. I use hot and sour soup as my initial benchmark of any Chinese restaurant and Nee House didn't disappoint. Lots of tofu, pork, vegetables, and bamboo shoot slivers with the perfect blend of spicy broth makes this the perfect remedy for a chill or sore throat. (Yes...it does get chilly in Phoenix in January and February.) All of the other dishes we have tried in our six visits since last year have been very good to excellent. They have a lot of seafood offerings, including lobster and crab dishes on the menu as well as shrimp and fish. We've had lobster and fish there, both of which were very good, but our favorites have been the beef with black bean sauce and orange chicken. Just a note...if you want BBQ Pork Fried Rice, it's not on the in-restaurant menu, but they'll make it if you ask.

I have no idea what people like about this place. The pictures of the menu items look nothing like what you get. Potstickers are rubbery. Check my chicken with black bean sauce and compare that with their menu photo...hmm I'll take the one from the menu

Decided to try this restaurant based on Google reviews. I found the food totally bland. The pineapple chicken that was described as stir fried chicken turned out to be a soup. See pic. Chicken was slimy in everything we ordered. Look at the wad of chicken in the chow mein. Sorry but it's not our type of Chinese food.

This is the best Chinese food I've had in Phoenix. Have been here 8 years and tried numerous places but they do not hold up to good NYC quality Chinese food. This one does!!! We had Mongolian Beef and Moo Shu Chicken.

food is great, service good. try the crispy noodles (hong Kong style) is the best. My picky friend loved the sautéed green beans. it was quite full and the noise level is not too bad.
