Ordered the beef with vegetables and orange chicken combination plates and both were delicious. Each came with fried rice, lo mein, a spring roll, a crab puff, and a cup of egg drop soup. Our to-go order was ready quickly and everything was warm and fresh. We also added egg rolls, which were just as tasty. Great value for the price and quality.

Who knew a bowl of egg drop soup didn't come with wonton chips. Got home excited to eat, and was disappointed I didn't have my crunch to go with it. It's crazy how after a bad day, expecting something so small can be so disappointing.
To go food is expensive, this just edges me towards never eating out.

Hidden Gem for Authentic Hong Kong-Style Chinese Food!

We randomly walked into New Hong Kong Restaurant after a movie at the Esplanade Theater, craving some good Chinese food—and wow, what a great surprise! The orange chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful, the chow mein was packed with fresh veggies and noodles cooked just right, and the sweet-and-sour soup & egg rolls were the best I’ve had in a while.

Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor, and the prices were extremely reasonable—such a great deal for the quality and portion size. The service was truly five-star—thank you Michelle for the amazing hospitality and the thoughtful gift—we will forever remember it. You made the experience even more special.

It's a small, cozy spot with a relaxed vibe, but don’t let that fool you—the food is top-notch. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending you and the restaurant to our friends and family.

If you’re in the Biltmore area and craving delicious, authentic Chinese cuisine, don’t miss New Hong Kong!

This place has the BEST Orange Chicken I have had in Phoenix. Something about the little crunch and taste is 10/10. (2022)

Update, been awhile since I’ve gone and went back to for the Orange Chicken and it was different. I was disappointed food was still good but NO CRUNCH 8/10

New Hong Kong Restaurant offered a satisfying and authentic Chinese dining experience. The portions were generous, and every dish from the sweet and sour chicken to the beef with broccoli was flavorful and freshly made. The staff was friendly and efficient. A great spot for casual, delicious comfort food. Will return!

Nice Place Inside. The Staff Was Helpful.
My Order Was Roast Duck. It Was Dry And Tough...The Duck Legs Seem To Be From Two Different Ducks... The Bones Tell Me The Truth. I Only Waited 15 Minutes. So It Doesn't Dry That Way So Fast. It Came With White Rice That Was Under Cooked Hard To Eat .I Ordered Extra Rice Both Were Bad! 😔

Good food, good prices, tbh the springs rolls and egg rolls were top notch. The chicken tastes real, not like frozen process. You can tell by the way, the breading and the chicken is when you bite into it. Like if it was made from scratch.
